I'm a Pentaxian (I've been shooting with Pentax cameras for over 40 years) and as long as your Nikon 18 to 105 lens will accept screw on filters (like a screw on polarizer filter) the Cokin Series P 67 Lens Adaptor Ring should screw onto your lens like any other filter. Cokin Filters Are the Most Convenient

I have used Cokin filters for over 30 years and I find them the most convenient to use of any I have tried. I always have the filter holder and a selection of filters with me whereever I am shooting. Cokin's selection is also the largest I have found and, with few exceptions, provide a filter for any use I can think of.
