Looks to me as though it's very well built. It's very sturdy. I use it to power my sound system which calls for a lot of current. This product offers multiple outlets which was perfect for my use, and includes both 15 and 20 amp outlets. Great product.

The units is being used to control RF, Digital and video equipment's used in Amateur Radio station setup. It provides a common access point for emergency shutdown in case of lightning or other power occurrence's requiring an emergency shut down.

I have several of these mounted in various equipment racks used for some pretty sensitive electronics where surge protection and filtering are critical. A 20a rating is a huge plus. The LEDs on the front tell at a glance that everything is OK (or not) while the two front mounted outlets come in handy for when you need an outlet and don't want to dig around inside the rack for an unused one. The front mounted power switch is a nice touch. The fewer times I have to go into the rack - the better. This item is solid metal, sturdy and heavy, which usually translates to 'quality'. A little pricey? Sure. The good stuff always is. Worth every penny. I have been using Tripp-lite products for 3+ decades and will continue to do so. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anybody.
