Sennheiser at its' best. Have owned MANY headphones going all the way back to the HD414's bought as a twelve-year-old with lawn mowing money. These are the most comfortable and listenable pair that are my go-to for both films and music. Paired with a quality DAC, the nuances and presence are amazing. Blows away all Bluetooth sets and all but a couple of sub-$600 pairs.

These headphones are both comfortable and sonically accurate. Many professional audio engineers depend on the HD 600s for headphone references, because of the detail and precision that these headphones offer. After hearing about the HD 600s for years, I finally purchased them and am extremely impressed. For anyone who wants to truly hear their music the way the musicians & engineers intended it to sound, these are a must!

It's definitely a serious headphone. I heard some sibilance from vocalists I often listen to. I had studied a firm called Sonarworls and their software for headphones before I purchased the HD600.. It works kinda like an equalizer.I felt the HD600 was worthj the additional investment. If it works like I think it will, it'll be perfection. And I hope it is. I don't have it back yet.

I purchased the Sennheiser HD600 after researching headphones on the net. I wanted a well made, comfortable, and sonically accurate headphone that I could connect to my Onkyo receiver. This unit is very impressive and does not disappoint. It is my first pair of cans and I use them primarily for classical music blurays.

I currently have this headphone and a Beyerdynamic DT 770 and can tell the difference between the two. The sound is very neutral and very crisp. You should pair a good amp with this. The earpads are very comfortable, although is a bit tight if you have a big head. The cables are detachable, so if they break, you can easily replace them. Overall, great purchase!

I haven't owned a pair of open backed earphones in many years due to the fragile nature and repeated repairs to another brand's offering, and while these don't blow me away as much as my first "more expensive than the device to which it's paired" pair they offer excellent sound, comfort, and durability. My older Android phone drives them well enough for casual use, but I use a FiiO E17 to drive them a bit further using a USB micro to mini cable connected to my phone's USB port. Turning off USB charging on the E17 keeps it from draining my phone's battery while in this configuration. My one complaint about the HD600 would be the ridiculously long cable (does 600 denote 600cm?). Nothing that wasn't remedied through a third party replacement (now 1.3m).

Sennhesier HD 600 are the perfect headphones to listen with your music. You'll hear crisp and snappy feedback. Perfect amp and dac would be Valhalla 2 + Bitfrost. If your on a budget I recommend fiio e17 / with the dock.

Best headphone before you get into stupid money, which I've spent before for electrostatics. Great value too if you're patient to wait for the occasional sale.Fifty years as a musician, I've bought many different headphones, and these are my favorite. So there was a sale, and I bought a backup pair for the day when my first pair crap out.

Amazing audophile headphones. It woould be impossible to describe the quality of the sound adequately. If you have never purchased high quality audio products this would be a great set of headphone to start with. Most people would never need anything more. I've been wanting these for quite some time. I'm getting a bit older, OK a lot older, so I don't think the HD600s would be the R&b listeners may not care for them. They to me a smooth curve thru out the frequencies. No "booming bass". Comparing the rest of my headphones they sit at a level of a accuracy worlds above in sound quality. Not using all the descriptive words that seem common in these reviews they are very comfortable to listen to and wear. Being. A retired aircraft mechanic, sure I have some hearing loss, but I can enjoy music and make it a real pleasure. From Mile Davis, Diana Krall to the Doors I'm in heaven listening to the music from these.
