Always thought i could not afford this product .Found Adorama discount of 58% off and had to get it.Product is made well. It has large enough knobs to tighten securely. Strong enough to use as a handle, in other words its not cheap junk

The tripod adapter makes binocular viewing much easier. I use it with Nikon 10x50 binoculars and a lightweight photo tripod primarily for backyard astronomy. It makes a huge difference when viewing. With the view stabilized you can see greater detail in the moon. It also makes seeing smaller objects much easier. I was able to observe Jupiter's moons using the tripod, but I never would have been able to hold the binoculars steady enough to see objects that tiny next to bright Jupiter. The adapter is made of metal. It feels solid and well made. The screw is smooth and feels secure when tightened. once again, this adapter really makes viewing an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend this enough.

Very sturdy metal construction. Stong design with no flexing or shake. Attractive crinkle style (textured) finish, with rubber cushion on tripod base. Knurled knob makes attaching and removing binoculars a snap. Works great with my Rogue BX-1 8x50 binoculars as well as a friends Tasco 7x35's and Meade 10x50's. Having binoculars firmly attached to a tripod eliminates shake and vibration, and makes using binoculars for things like star gazing or wild life viewing a real pleasure!
