A fine DS lens and very good for those of us who wear glasses. Wider than the zoom, without the zoom's convenience of course but an eyepiece I've used on 50mm 60mm and 78mm scopes to quite literally "brighten up the day" - cheaper than UK prices too - even with duty charges.

I use this EP on an ED50 and it yields 16x. I find this power more useful than I would have thought for visual use and because of it's brightness and sharpness, it reveals very good detail. It also has allowed me to enjoy casual digiscoping with a P&S camera as it is quite easy with a simple ring adapter. These DS eyepieces also have greater eye relief over their MC counterparts and eyeglass wearers will appreciate this. At 24x on a 60mm Fieldscope and 30x on a 78 or 82, it makes for an wonderful general use EP.

Excellent eyepiece. The angle of view is much wider than with the zoom eyepiece. Very good for digiscoping when used together with the Nikon FSA-3 adapter (which has a 58mm thread).
