Strong Metal Desk Mount - just what I ordered.
Solid metal build, just like my flashpoint light stands. Thought it might have had a higher telescoping range but it's still goes a few inches higher than shown in the photo. The Flashpoint Telescoping Tabletop Light Stand supports heavy loads up to 22 pounds safely and securely without the encroachment of legs with a demanding footprint. The C-Clamp grip design mounts on any flat surface up to 2" inches thick. The 3-section shaft of aluminum has twist lock suregrip collars to adjust the length from 12.5 to 22 inches. The petite telescoping stand is excellent for on-the-move setup, videography and vlogging, inspired selfies, and tedious macro work. Use it on your desktop for instant use with a smartphone holder and enjoy a third hand.
The accessory stand goes beyond the confines of a full-sized light stand. The compact arm acts as a compact production tool for cramped quarters or creative solution-based challenges. Not only is this a space saver for tabletops, but it can be fastened onto doors, shelving, posts, and rails. Lightweight imaging devices and sound equipment such as mics can be attached directly to the 1/4"-20 male threads or 3/8"-16 male threads of the reversible stud that locks into the dual 5/8" receiver.
