Hardware issues
This is my 2nd HL-L3290CDW. My first needed to be replaced because it would not turn on. My 2nd machine has had problems connecting to my computers wireless at times. I cannot update the firmware for whatever reason. I stayed with the same machine because I had just purchased a new drum set for my old machine because the yellow drum leaked. I am happy with the print quality of the machine.

Brother Printer
The only issue I have is there is no Ethernet port.

Works at a good speed. The black toner goes pretty quickly with just a few copies.

Great price...Terrible product.
Difficult to connect. The set up never worked and I had to have the Geek Squad come out to do a workaround. It still only prints. I cannot scan. Ultimately, I will ditch it and buy another printer. Never again will it be Brother.

1.5yo Printer Died
1.5yo printer died for turning it for 4 days when outta town in July.
Prior to, it was excellent. I called Brother hotline and a repair tech as well; there were no possible missed ways to troubleshoot. It has to be trashed because it is likely a bad internal part as 2020-22 had QA issues post-Covid & is more costly to repair than to buy a newer slimmer model.
Sad about this but... c'est la vie.

Overall a Great Product; Cannot configure wireless
Good Print Quality - A Little Quirky to Set Up! I had a hard time trying to get the wireless set up and did not have a lot of support in trying to do it simply from customer tech support. It is hardwired but I would like to print from my phone (s) which is a missing feature at this time.

Disappointed
Haven't used the color yet, but after 6months says color is empty. How would toner run out if only printing in black and white.

Expensive
The printer is ok, takes forever to print pages when in color. I am very displeased that after 720 printed pages I am replacing toner already. Yellow and black are depleted. For a 370 dollar printer I would have liked to have seen the toners last 1300 pages?. Now with in 3 months of use I have to go spend a few hundred on toner? I didn't go inkjet because I don't print weekly to keep the heads from clogging but now think maybe I should have.

Best Printer We've Ever Owned
After years of using an ink jet printer and buying so many inkjet cartridges we finally bought this Brother printer. What a difference. It's faster. It prints more clearly. And we haven't needed to buy any additional ink. We could not be more pleased. Great printer.

Very good printer for the money
We bought this printer to replace another laser printer and it has performed exceptionally well. The copies are clear and crisp, and the double-sided printing is easy and paper saving. My wife, in particular, loves the fact that she can print directly from her cellphone. The printer does not use a lot of toners which is a big plus for it. Overall, very pleased with this printer.

Not Happy About Scanning Function
Not what I expected. The scanning function can scan one page at a time. A joke.

Worth the investment!
Best printer I've ever purchased! for so many years I'd just accepted that ink jet printers were something I'd have to replace every couple of years. Of course that meant I was also agreeing to being held hostage to high printer cartridge costs. I finally did my research and invested in a laser printer and I'm so happy with the decision!. It prints beautifully - smooth, quick and consistent high quality.

Very Good Multi Unit
We have been using this printer for a few months now and everything is working great. The scanner is faster than our old ink jet multi unit. The color printing is very good. Since this printing is more cost-effective than the ink jet, I am not hesitant to print in color.

Need online manual for each model.
Due to the numerous models of printers, it is difficult to find the exact manual for my printer. I have yet been able to use the wifi and scanning features because I don't have exact instructions. If you have more tech skills than I, this might be a printer for you. I miss my easy to use HP printer.

Interface controls frustrating
The end result is very good quality printing. I went from one of your models with a touch screen and I find that this one's control interface VERY frustrating.

Brother Laser Printers Rock
My Brother laser printer is the absolute best. Contrary to some review information online, my print cartridges that came with printer have printed close to 100 color prints and still going. I'll never buy an ink printer ever again and will always look at Brother products first. I also love that I was able to get a cover for my printer and the cart is perfect.

Used very little, color is a disappointment
Used sparingly so far. Printed several color pages and felt they were not as sharp as my old HP color printer.

Good value, poor image quality, some bugs
Let's see, it's a color laser printer with wifi and built in duplexing, as well as a scanner and a copier, and it's barely more expensive than an inkjet. Obviously some cost cutting had to happen, but the result is not bad.
The printer works with all my systems which includes a zoo of Windows, Mac, and Linux machines. Scanning just works also. Quick to wake from sleep. Stable Wi-Fi connection.
There are some downsides. The plastic is cheap. Tiny display. Some PDFs confuse the printer and make it print a blank page (that page has to then be reprinted with "print as image"). Speaking of images, image quality is terrible, both in color and in black and white.
Overall though, for general office duty this machine provides good performance for the money.

Great Printer
Very clear and fast printer. Scans well and is very adjustable for size and color quality. Great two sided printing. Easy to change out toner and paper. Quiet while printing. Works great with all Wi-Fi equipment. Would purchase again, Great price.
