Just imagine harnessing the power and prestige of Bjorn Juhl's renowned amplifier designs, previously accessible only to the world's top musicians and studio artists, in a compact, budget-friendly package. The BJF-S66 Compact Guitar Amp Head brings this dream to life, making Juhl's visionary designs accessible to all guitarists.
Inspired by the iconic American black-face amps of the mid-1960s, the BJF-S66 serves as a tribute to these legendary "plug & play" amplifiers, renowned for their versatility and ability to deliver a wide range of tonal options. This compact powerhouse employs an ultra-efficient Class D power amp design, coupled with a discrete, solid-state all-analog signal path in the preamp, ensuring pure, unadulterated tone.
The BJF-S66 is not just compact but also feature-packed. It boasts two distinct channels - rhythm and lead, each with an adjustable lead boost. It also offers 3-band EQ controls, a bright switch, and channel-specific reverb level and decay controls, along with tremolo controls. This ensures that you have complete control over your sound, whether you're playing in a small venue or recording in a studio.
On the rear panel, you'll find a comprehensive array of connectivity options, including an Effects Loop Send/Return, Preamp Out, Speaker Out, and footswitch inputs. You can control the channel select, FX loop, and tremolo via footswitch, either separately or using the custom FS-P3 3-way footswitch (sold separately).
The BJF-S66 is capable of driving speakers from 4 ohms to 16 ohms, with a power output of 100W at 4 Ohms, 66W at 8 Ohms, and 30W at 16 Ohms. Despite its compact size, it doesn't compromise on power or sound quality.
With its modern design and build techniques, the BJF-S66 Compact Guitar Amp Head captures the essence of the revered mid-60's sound. It's small and lightweight enough to fit into a gig bag, yet robust enough to withstand the rigors of the road. Experience the fusion of vintage sound and modern convenience with the BJF-S66.
