A lot of flashes in a small box
I have been using this product for over 20 years. I primarily use it for remote studio when doing weddings and outdoor shooting.
The BMED Medium sized Battery provides 200 flashes at 200ws. It uses two decks of our no memory NiCd battery cells and is about 2.2 inches tall and weighs just under two and a half pounds.
The NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) battery cells are the type that we have used since 1982. We buy the best No Memory high quality cells and build them into multi-deck power-houses.
The Medium NiCd Battery, BMED is the most popular sized Battery. It's not unusual for photographers to get two of these since you can switch them easily when one gets low. When we recommend a kit, it includes a Medium Battery.
If you use 200ws we guaranty 200 flashes per charge. If you use 25ws, that same battery gives you 1600 flashes. Likewise, if you use only 400ws, you should expect 100 or more flashes from this little battery.
