Nissin has a great line of flash products and the Air 1 Commander is at the top of the list for me. I use mine with Nissin Di700As and a Canon 600 EXII RT (need Nissin Air Receiver) in studio and on location. This is an extremely easy to use controller/transmitter. It is logically designed, looks great and is very dependable. Aside from demonstrating how to pair with your flash or Nissin Air Receiver, it's use is so intuitive you can figure out most of it's functions without instructions. I highly recommend the Nissin Air 1 Commander for Canon cameras.

Returned my "lemon". With fresh batteries, it kept turning off. When it was on, I had a very hard time pairing it with my i60A. Decided to move on an got the Flashpoint R2 transmitter & flash and it paired easily and works like a charm.

Paired it with the nissin i60 flash and it works great. Much better for even handheld off-camera TTL flash control. No wires! Pretty simple to pair and to adjust exposure +-2 stops. This combination provides both on-camera and off-camera TTL flash for less money than the new Fuji X-500 flash. And it uses radio control rather than optical control. Nice compact addition for my X-T2 kit.

The Nissin Air 1 Commander is a newly developed 2.4GHz radio transmission wireless flash system. To compare with the traditional optical wireless transmitters, 2.4GHz radio transmission is less susceptible to angle and obstacle limitation, coverage up to 30 meters. Transmission channels and radio transmission IDs can be set to prevent misfiring in the event of signal interference on the same channel. Nissin Commander Air 1 can control 3 groups of Nissin Flashes with the user friendly operation panel and variety function, it would be more convenient for the user.
Stylish design with enhanced user experience Colorful LED control panel and select dial with simple user of interface in Nissin Air 1. Even beginners can quickly get started. All settings can be easily operated by one finger-tip. The new Nissin Commander Air 1 is designed to sit in the hotshoe of compatible cameras and will be able to remotely control and trigger NAS equipped flash guns. The commander can deal with three groups of flashes and can apply up to +/-2EV TTL flash exposure compensation. It allows 8 steps of manual output control, high speed synchronization as well as 1st and 2nd curtain triggering.
