My unit is not as dependable as I had hoped when used with 190Wh v-mounts. It tends to shut off frequently during use, with LO message on the power unit even with brand new and fully charged batts. Re-seating the batts can give me several more minutes. I have two units doing this. But the fresnel kit is GREAT - almost doubles the light output of this already super bright lamp.

This light is bright… no, you don’t understand… it’s BRIGHT. It’s like turning on the sun! I really like it. My only concern is the fan noise from the power unit, but that’s not really a big problem. The GLOW Parabolic that came with it is better designed than my Aputure Parabolic of the same size, so I’m happy with it as well. Overall, well worth the money!

Great light, bright, well built, with one caveat!!! I had to send one back because~1st it was im`perfectly illuminated. The right half of the light circle daylight,was white, while the left half was much warmer.. by 600-700 K.... the replacement was very even across the illumination circle. I would strongly suggest that anyone purchasing this light use it to illuminate a white wall up close to confirm color fidelity across the illumination circle.
