Shopper : I cannot find any definite info on the power output. Is this brighter than a Clar Venus?MICHAEL D : Each model light that you are inquiring about has a "specs" tab on its product page. The CLAR Lumiere 320 puts out 2304 lumens vs the CLAR Venus, which has 826 lumens. To answer your question; yes, the CLAR Lumiere 320 is brighter than the CLAR Venus.
Shopper : Is this a rebrand of another light?DENISE B : I have not seen this light from another manufacturer. It’s a great little light and easy to use, especially for the price. J D : I need a clip to hold this on my Mac Air for video light - please suggest?WILLIAM F : Call the folks at Adorama for advice. 1/4 20 is the standard thread size for most cameras, tripods, light stands ect.DENNIS D : Clip onto a laptop ? If you are not going to be mobile with it (as in carrying the laptop around), my suggestion is to simply get a desktop stand with an adjustable mount. If have a couple of spring clip type mounts that would work on a laptop if you really wanted to go that way, but they would make the light source WAY too close if clipped directly to the laptop. The spring clips I use have been adapted to the light mount and I use them when a regular tripod isn't practical or feasible. I have a few sets purchased through both Adorama and Amazon.

Clar Lumiere 320 RGB bi-color led light kit used in studio setting with good results.

I haven't had time to use the product very much but so far I am very pleased with the Lumiere. I like the app that I can use on my phone. The light is portable when I need it and can be attached to a stand. It has multi colored lights that can be adjusted or use only warm or cool white light. Very versatile light. Small, and light weight and easy to handle. Excellent price.

Magic Gordo says he has never had a problem with Adorama as a customer for many years.

The CLAR package arrived on time and exactly as advertised. Shipping cost could have been less in line with many other items from Adorama.

Great additional to lighting kit

The best light out there for the price!

I really like this light, I have three other rgb lights but like this one the best as far as function and the app that controls it. It's ac or dc so you can plug it in and use it as a room accent light with the ability to turn it off and on by your phone.

Fun little light

I have had the CLAR light for about a month now and it has provided me with very portable lighting. The longest I have used it with battery power was about 1 hour and still had life left in it. The variable light color is a cool feature and fun. I have a google pixel and the remote app installed and work seamlessly. CON the mount is cheapish and only screws on a light stand vs slide on. For the price, I could not have asked for more and be realistic anyway. Good purchase for a portable, starting point.

Bang for your buck.

First of all, for the price, it can't be beat. The ability to control the light is fantastic. It's plenty bright for tight lighting situations. It's that little bit extra that I needed for interviews. The carrying case makes it easy to transport. AC/DC option is fantastic. The only downside is when it's been running for a while it just shuts down and then lights up again after a few minutes. Not sure what the issue is. Luckily it's never happened while I've been filming.

**Decent**

This light was very good as far as ease and color while shooting in the dark. However it didnt fair too well in the light. Its still a great buy and i highly recommend buying it.

CLAR Lumiere LED Light Kit.

Add versatility to your illumination inventory with the CLAR Lumiere 320 RGB Bi-Color LED Light Kit. This portable yet capable accessory kit contains a multi-color 320-LED light, a wall power supply, and an adjustable ball-and-socket mount - all packaged in apadded and zippered carry case.

CLAR Bi-color panel

Bi-Color LED Brilliance.

The panel's 320 LEDs can produce an RGB or bi-color output with adjustable brightness and continuously tunable temperatures from 3200K to 5600K. After turning it on and without pressing any menu buttons, the light is in default RGB mode that cycles through theRGB color spectrum by turning the dial knob. Using the four menu buttons, you can switch between four functions: hue/saturation, brightness, temperature, and a battery status indicator. Depressing the H/S or Bri buttons holds your current color selection but enables you to change its hue/saturation or brightness by continuing to turn the dial.

LED Display.

The 3-digit red LED display then gives you the percentage of brightness or hue/saturation. Pushing Tem button turns on the bi-color mode and allows you to tune its temperature. In order to get a meaningful reading of color temperature, multiply the displayed number by a 100x to get the correct number in Kelvins. The device also has a memory, so after a restart, it is set to the last function that was used. For portable operation, optional Sony NP-F750/550 or other compatible batteries can be attached to the battery bay.
