Shopper : Is there a way to use the ring light and the wand at the same time?MICHAEL D : There is only one available input for either the wand or ring light. Please email us at brands@adorama.com for more info. BURT R : I suppose it is possible to light the ring with the charger and use the wand with the battery installed. I don't think I'd try that because of the need to be plugged in which would limit where the camera could be. I would think that if you really want to use both simultaneously, that you should purchase a second battery pack.HARRY D : Yes, with two batteries.

I'm using it with my Nikon 7000 and 5100 and my Sony A55. It's an awesome light. It flickers a little when you adjust the intensify. Great light set for video and macro
I bought a used unit with a broken wand, I only needed the ring. The ring puts out a fantastic amount of light and is great for video. The battery is larger than I anticipated but it comes with a mount bracket. I was able to fix the wand as it had some corrosion on the negative and the positive wire was soldered in with the plastic still on the wire in the terminal! Easy fix! Both work great now and I am very happy with light quality and output! If you see a set with a non functional wand, I'd highly suggest picking it up if you have a soldering iron and know how to use it. Very simple and easy light to fix!

Fun helpful kit addition
Product description was accurate and helpful. Everything came in good condition and well organised, and works just as expected! The lights are even brighter than I had hoped and are excellent for doing on the fly adjustenents to my convention portraiture, where lighting is not ideal. These don't complete my kit, but they have already been a fun and helpful addition. I especially like that so much came in one affordable, flexible kit.

Needed some extra light
Good light for indoor macro photography. Comes in a case, well organized and simple to use
