Works like I expected. This gimbal is awesome!!! I paid $50 on black Friday deal. It is well worth that price. I recommend for everyone who takes cell phone videos. It even helps taking pictures in low light.

A solid four, but not yet five. This is a good gimbal, with decent set of accessories, but there is room for improvement (version 2!). It works well, stabilizes well, it’s very quiet (you can’t hear it, and you can’t hear it in the recordings). It lasts on battery for a while (though I don’t know how long yet, I suspect it will be around 5hrs – if possible, I’ll update this review once I know exactly). The good: 1)it does the job. It keeps the video stable, it allows a fairly versatile recording angle, 2)it’s quiet, 3)the tripod feels very stable, 4)there is some limited config in the app (e.g. panning speed), The bad: 1)The hard-shell case fits gimbal, and gimbal only. The mini-tripod can’t be placed in the cover, it simply doesn’t fit. (and forget putting the gopro holder there). This simply means that you need a separate bag for those… 2)The Bluetooth connection is *very* unreliable. My phone (Pixel 3) shows only 1 out of 4 bars in the app, it routinely shows errors when taking panorama pictures (e.g it will take 5 pictures fine, and on the 6th or 7th picture it will show an error) 3)The hard shell material arrived a bit deformed because of how it was packaged with screws in the box, 4)Software is getting there, but is lacking. Face following is not perfect (drops face) and similar with items tracking. More importantly, you can’t program a rotation for video in a predefined pattern (I’d like to put it on tripod and make it rotate in a pattern, or simply do the ‘panorama move’ while recording video). The animation when it launches is unnecessary, and it could remember the last gimbal it connected to for a faster startup (instead of asking to chose gimbal and requiring extra click), 5)The error codes may be confusing. When my gimbal had an empty battery, it blinked red rapidly on the right side, which according to the manual means ‘overload’. I thought it was malfunctioning on its second day, it started working after charging (I am yet to see if it repeats), 6)Rarely, but sometimes I wish it had 360 instead of 330 rotation :-)
