Great for the money

Great for the money. You can flip the rod clamp for horizontal mounting. Used on two shoots in a shoulder rig. Battery was secure. So far so good.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! THE POWER IS HERE!!!

So, I run a "smallish" Sigma FP cinema rig. I needed a way to power it with one source. I found the Camvate V-mount battery supply plate, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. It has been so rock solid. The battery locks in and there is NO play or movement whatsoever. I literally power everything directly from the power plate. I run the camera, monitor, follow focus and wireless transmitter off of one 150Wh V mount battery. This plate and battery combo lets me power everything, all day. It mounts perfectly on 15mm rails and has a separate on/off switch located at the top of the plate with a blue light to indicate that the power is on. And also comes this a bunch of power cables to connect your devices. All this and it's only $99! Do yourself a favor, stop looking at other brands and pick this up.

Power cuts out when there’s movement

The battery plate’s built quality is great but it does NOT function properly. The power cuts out every time I touch the battery or the plate with a little bit of force which causes my monitor and camera’s power to cut out every time. And it is does not require much force at all to do so which is why there is no way I’m going to use this to power my devices and just to use it as a battery holder and run power straight from the battery. By the way the battery I’m using is the D&O lighting v mount batteries. I have two to try out which is why I know it is not a problem with the batteries it self. I really want to like this because built, features and looks great but it is not reliable so I can not use it to power my device unfortunately.
