I really liked this cable when it worked.  It was just long enough to use on my fx6 for front SmallHD 503.  Worked for a little over a year and then one day I plugged it into a fully charged battery and the battery indicator lights went to 0.  No power to camera or monitor.  I was really worried, and after some trouble shooting (the battery was fine, but needed to be reset on a charger) i realized there was a short in the cable.  I did some electrical tape surgery and revived the cable!  Hurrah!  But after a couple more uses, I had the same issue. DoH!  Long story short (ahem), sadly this cable didn't last long enough for me to think it's worth it.  I don't abuse my gear, so it was disappointing to have to buy another and be SOL while on a job.
