FAQ

What does 10x50 in the Nature DX ED Roof Prism Binocular mean?

The '10x50' denotes the magnification power and the diameter of the objective lenses in millimeters. '10x' means the binoculars can magnify up to 10 times closer than the naked eye, and '50' refers to the 50mm diameter of the objective lenses which gather light for viewing.

What is Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass and how does it improve the viewing experience?

Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass helps reduce chromatic aberration, a type of distortion where colors appear fringed. This results in sharper, clearer images with true-to-life colors. Celestron's ED glass is of high quality, offering visibly brighter and sharper images, especially in low light conditions.

Are these binoculars suitable for eyeglass wearers?

Yes, the Nature DX ED binoculars are designed with twist-up eyecups, making them comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers.

Can the Nature DX ED binoculars be mounted on a tripod?

Yes, these binoculars are tripod-adaptable for extended viewing sessions or digiscoping. The tripod adapter is sold separately.

Are these binoculars suitable for use in all weather conditions?

Absolutely, the Nature DX ED binoculars are housed in a durable rubber-armored, polycarbonate casing that is fully waterproof. They are also filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of lenses, making them resilient to even the toughest outdoor conditions.

Fantastic visuals

Not only are these a great pair of binoculars, but they double as one of the best graphics cards money can buy. Raytracing, 4k, VR, this thing will tackle anything you can throw at it. A true benchmark in PC graphics technology.

Nice binoculars

Nice binoculars. Even in the heavily-lighted of suburban Los Angeles County, I can see some detail on the moon.

Clear and Sharp

Very clear & sharp details. Easy to adjust the focus. Figuring out how to put it up to your eyes to properly look thru the eyepieces has taken some work, but I eventually figured it out. I would buy it again.

Great Binoculars for Me as a Beginner

As my first set of binoculars, this has met all of my expectations. I find this set to feel very sturdy in my hands without a sense of fragility while adjusting the diopter, eye cups or to the distance I'm viewing. My husband and I both wear glasses and have no issue with the eye pieces or even adjusting quickly between users. It is light enough to carry around on my walks. I do notice that the image is not as crisp at the edges of my view which may be my inexperience or the price point quality. I would easily recommend this pair for someone starting out.

Great Value

A lot of features from higher end binoculars but at a relatively inexpensive price. Well worth the money.

An excellent binocular and great price point!

By RICHARD L.

These binoculars did not dissapoint me. They fit in my hands well. They are light weight. The focus is crisp. Easy to use. The best binoculars I have ever tried. Highly recommend to any birder or hunter.

Before you venture into the great outdoors, equip yourself with Celestron's upgraded Nature DX ED Roof Prism Binocular, a recipient of numerous accolades for its superior performance. This 10x50 model is a perfect companion for long-distance viewing or surveillance, offering an optical performance that competes with higher-end binoculars, but at a budget-friendly price.

The Nature DX ED binoculars are equipped with Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) objective lenses, a feature that virtually eliminates chromatic aberration or color fringing, a common visual defect in many binoculars. This ED glass technology ensures you enjoy razor-sharp images, even at the edges of your field of view, and produces images with outstanding, true-to-life color. Celestron's high-quality ED glass is known for delivering visibly brighter, sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars, a difference that is particularly noticeable in low light conditions such as dawn or dusk.

These binoculars also feature fully multi-coated optics, meaning all air-to-glass surfaces are layered with multiple anti-reflectivity coatings to maximize light transmission. The prisms inside the Nature DX ED are made of high-quality BaK-4 glass with phase coatings, ensuring more light is reflected off their internal faces and passes through to your eye. Combined with the ED objective lenses, these features result in remarkably bright, highly detailed images, even in low light conditions.

The Nature DX ED binoculars are housed in a durable rubber-armored, polycarbonate casing that offers protection from damage without adding unnecessary weight. The design caters to both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers, thanks to the durable twist-up eyecups. These binoculars are also fully waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of lenses, making them resilient to even the toughest outdoor conditions.

The 10x50 Nature DX ED binoculars offer 10x magnification, ideal for close-up views of distant subjects. The 50mm objective lenses are large enough to gather ample light, yet lightweight enough for handheld use. For extended viewing sessions or digiscoping (photography through the eyepiece), these binoculars are tripod-adaptable (adapter sold separately).

For convenient transport, the Nature DX ED binoculars come with a comfortable strap and a protective padded nylon case. They are also compatible with any standard photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping (tripod adapter sold separately). Experience the world in high-definition with the 10x50 Nature DX ED Roof Prism Binocular from Celestron.
