This flat-field eyepiece is engineered to deliver an ultra-sharp, ultra-clear, and crisp image from the center to the edge of the field of view. The 10mm Ultima Edge eyepiece boasts fully multi-coated optics and a sophisticated 5-element lens design, ensuring maximum light transmission for bright, vivid images. With a generous 60-degree field of view, it's ideal for observing celestial bodies like planets, stars, and the Moon's surface in high power magnification, allowing you to explore smaller objects in great detail.Constructed from high-grade aluminum, the main housing of the 10mm Ultima Edge eyepiece is robust and durable, with a black anodized outer surface for added protection. The 1.25" mounting barrel is internally threaded to accommodate standard 1.25" filters and adapters, making it compatible with 1.25" star diagonals and focusers.The eyepiece features a unique molded rubber grip ring, designed for secure, non-slip handling during observing sessions, even when wearing gloves. Comfortable viewing is assured for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers, thanks to the fold-down rubber eyecups and long eye relief of 16mm.The 10mm Ultima Edge Series 1.25" Eyepiece also offers a convenient parfocal design. This means that when you have more than one Ultima Edge eyepiece, you can switch between them without needing to refocus. This feature allows you to enjoy a wide range of high and low power views and switch between them quickly and easily, maximizing your observing sessions. Please note that the Ultima Edge 24mm is not a parfocal eyepiece, and Ultima Edge eyepieces maintain focus only within the line and not when swapped with parfocal eyepieces from other brands or series.

I have used this lens three times with my 8-in SCT and it produces a clear image with good brightness, clarity, field-of-view with sufficient eye relief for someone like me who wears glasses. It produces a slightly brighter, bigger image than a 25mm eyepiece with a 2x Barlow and although I would like even more than the advertised 16mm of eye relief, it has been a good upgrade from the stock lens at a price that doesn't break the bank. Overall quite happy with this purchase.

Nice Lens at a Competitive Price

Excellent eyepiece the field of view is flat. The exit pupil is just right for me so overall, I feel that this is an excellent choice for a high power eyepiece.

Excellent eyepiece

Didn't think this would be necessary, but crap - what a difference!  Love the viewing angle and it works well with the cell phone holder to utilize my iPhone camera.

Not good optics

Pretty new but this has great field of view and great color. Eye relief is kind of difficult to find the sweet spot.
