These are by far the best field glasses I have ever used, way better than some that were considerably more expensive. Easy to focus, very bright, and with excellent magnification. Waterproof construction is perfect for canoeing, with a good weight that is not so light that it jiggles too much, nor so heavy that it is hard to hold steady. Lens clarity is top notch with no distortion. The only down side is for people whose eyes may be a little closer together because the strong construction and size of the lens limits how close together the lens can be brought together to unify the images. While not a problem for me, my wife has to use her own field glasses of the same make but lesser magnification that are slightly smaller. But, then, she says that those are the best that she has ever used. You have to try them out.
