Questions & Answers

Maria Aileen M : Does it comes with this tripod? Does it takes photos?
Shopper : how many planets can we see in this telescope?HIDAJET M : all depends on your expectations: if you want to see details on Mars like canyons, the red spot on Jupiter or the rings of Saturn; you will need at least an 8 inches diameter instrument and a very clear sky. with this one, you should be able to glance at giants and their satellites, the others appearing as various size spots. This telescope is good for astronomy initiation, learning to use a telescope and an equatorial mount. is is decent for moon observation and terrestrial observation (wildlife for example). I was happy with my purchase because it met those expectations for my 7 years old grandson and a small budget.JOHN S : A 5" telescope won't show you much detail even on Jupiter, but you will certainly be able to see all of the planets. You will easily see a band or 2 on Jupiter, plus the 4 Galilean moons (as points of light) of Jupiter, which is is a nice view. You will see their motion over a few days observations. Our moon will be very fun to observe with this telescope. A quick online look yielded these 2 sources of basic information. I googled "the resolving power of a 5" telescope", and "the magnitude of Neptune" ADORAMA didn't want links included in this reply. Lots of info is available online.
Tushar Y : how far we can see with this telescope?EDWARD C : I use mine for astronomical observations only. I have been very satisfied with my purchase. I apologize if my answer was not helpful.

Perfect Choice to beginners

I was in my first Astronomy class. And there were about 6 more telescopes. I thought others would be better then mine. They looked amazing and bigger. But when we used them, my telescope was the most interesting for the people. Images sharply and easy to use. I recommended it to a 15 people i think.
