carmen l : WHAT LENS NUMBER FIT THIS ITEM.HOW CAN I FIND IT?MICHAEL S : The Celestron 45 Degree Angle Erect Image Diagonal 1.25 fits into a 1.25inch diameter telescope eyepiece tube of the telescope focus adjustment tube and accepts 1.25 inch diameter eyepieces and accepts eyepieces of various focal length POWER (2x 5x 100x etc.) that are designed for 1.25 inch mountings. To use the 1.25 erector with a smaller 1.00 diameter lens a sleeve adapter is required to allow centering and clamping the smaller 1 inch dia. lens in the 1.25 inch hole. I do not understand what the term "LENS NUMBER" refers to.. perhaps MFR or Vendor part or stock number? a I understand eyepiece lenses a (focal length) or power 5x , 10x etc. and a lens holder diameter 1.00 , 1.25 inch etc. define a particular lens Since telescopes are sold in differing lengths the eyepiece focal length is the better way to order an eye piece that might be used in various telescopes.JAMES M : Any lens with a 1.25" designation will fit this. This is a 45 degree and you can also get a 90 degree. You can also get both in a 2 inch version for more light transfer.JOEL B : I bought the item, because I thought the numbers were the same as the original I had. I have a C90 Celestron spotting scope and I wanted backup hardware. It doesn't fit the C90, it's for the larger Celestron scopes which, I think, all have this larger barrel design.KENNETH C : This one is for 1.25 inch diameter lenses. And it works fine on that. But when used to observe celestial objects what difference does it make. You really wouldn't use a reflector telescope for terrestrial observation. But what I like about the 45 degree erect image diagonal is for some observing sessions in the night sky. I can sit in a chair and adjust the hight for more comfortable observing session. Where as using the standard 90 degree star diagonal the more extreme angle makes it more difficult from a chair. But also this is a personal preference.

Perfect for shallow angle viewing

This product is easy to use, slide it into the scope's visual back, secure the set screws, slide the eyepiece into this and secure the set screws. It could benefit from compression rings instead of screw tip pressure to hold the eyepiece.

Dont bend your neck

I purchased these for use in building stereo microscopes It is intended for use on telescopes It appears to me to be a name branded generic item that is imported. It appears to me to be a sturdy, reasonable quality item suitable for telescopes or microscopes that use or will adapt to its eyepiece & tube size
