I was just looking for a simple scope to view birds, eagles, ducks, deer and other wildlife while out walking my dogs each morning.   Hummingbird scope is light and easy to carry.  Focus works well and requires readjustment if you zoom in and increase magnification.  I purchased  the less expensive model one without the special ED lens coating.  Trying to freehand photos thru scope with iPhone has been difficult.  Otherwise fits my needs

Perfect size, not as bulky as full size scopes - worked just fine, spotting ore boats on Lake Superior  as they plied the waters to and from Duluth/Superior harbors...

The Celestron Hummingbird scope is the best small scope I’ve ever used. It hits the sweet spot between my binoculars and much larger scopes, which I find much too unwieldy and heavy for me to lug around. It’s possible to use it without a tripod at low power, but it is so versatile to bring in birds that are beyond my binoculars.
