Celestron Handheld Digital and Optical M
There are some drawbacks to this product. First of all, it becomes a little hot if used for more than an hour. Also the digital pictures that it takes are prone to be blurry unless the microscope is held very still. However, this is normal for all portable microscopes.
The advantage of this product is the overall high quality of the digital display on your computer and ease of using the scope in the field as well as a lab. Also the option of using the purely optical eye-piece is fantastic (the optical view is very crisp as well). From looking for gold dust in river dirt to finding otherwise invisible scratch marks on steam pistons, and I have always been pleased with the performance of this product.
Overall this is an excellent product.

A handy device with many usese
I can use the usb camera in my other microscope.

Extremely fit for my purpose
I toss this in my laptop backpack and bring it offshore to evaluate millipore results. Millipores are filters used to trap solids for study, in my case, solids that come up in an oil or gas well. I can easily differentiate from metal flakes, proppant, sand and scale. The company used to buy very expensive stereo scopes, but this is all I need. I don't use it optically, though. I probably could use the computer only version.

Great quality for the money
Sure it's not as smooth as a $1000 microscope but for [$] it's very workable. The other reviewer says it's poor quality but what do you expect, fine optics? The 2mg camera does a great job.
