I live in a very light polluted area and this filter darkens the background to bring out objects that could not be viewed without it.

The filter come a little bit loose in the thread, but nothing to worrie about.  
Very happy with it.

Excellent product

Our polluted and not so good sky turns black when viewed through this filter. Excellent for deep sky imaging as well.

Indispensible if viewing nebula's.

The Celestron UHC filter works as advertised by blocking out the pinkish light from modern sodium vapor streetlights. However, it is not a substitute for truly dark country skies.

Works well in suburban skies

Works great at filtering out light polution. Got it on sale & has been a great addition to my telescope kit.
