The Coleman Astrowatch 70 Refractor Telescope, featuring a 70mm objective lens and a set of interchangeable eyepieces, offers up to 70x magnification power. In addition, the 5x20 finderscope enables you to focus in on the intended object. The telescope features a powder-coated, black diamond and gold-flecked, high-gloss aluminum tube housing. Suitable for terrestrial and astronomical observation, the telescope comes with a portable table-top tripod which allows you to quickly set up the telescope at the desired location for getting the best possible view. Horizontal and vertical controls and the rack and pinion focusing enable easy adjustment. Spotting Scope
With the Erecting Image Diagonal, the image you see is right side up so that your telescope is also ideal for terrestrial use as a spotting scope. Its 400mm focal length and large 70mm front objective diameter provide an f5.7 focal ratio for bright and clear images. The COLEMAN AT70 excels at daytime. Adjustable Height Panhead
Pan-heads work by controlling two hinges: one adjusts the vertical angle of your telescope, and the other adjusts the horizontal angle.

The main advantage of a pan-head tripod is that they give the user precise positioning control of the telescope, allowing you to easily adjust the vertical, horizontal, and tilt positions.
