The lens is handcrafted with classic polishing techniques to achieve the highest level of precision. We collect more measurements than ever before to ensure superior quality. Minerals are evaporated at a high temperature in a vacuum to produce a thin film on the glass, ensuring a durable and reliable lens.

The Anamorphic/i series comprises of 10 Anamorphic Prime Lenses, optimized for film and digital film cameras to reduce lateral color aberration and provide an organic bokeh look. These lenses are designed to provide maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion, and spherical aberration. The optics feature a 2x squeeze factor for super35 formats in 2.4:1 aspect ratio.

The lens features an ergonomically designed focus movement for smooth and accurate travel, utilizing precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation through the entire focus movement. The Cooke /I Technology ecosystem provides critical lens metadata such as focus and Iris position, suitable for the most modern VFX applications such as Virtual Production shooting.

All Anamorphic/i series Lenses have standardized 0.8 MOD focus and Iris drive gears, with most lenses in the series also featuring a fixed common front diameter of 110mm. The lenses are color balanced and color matched, ensuring consistency across the series. The Anamorphic/i series of prime lenses feature an eleven-leaf linear module iris assembly, providing an aperture range of T2.8-T22.

The lens comes with precision PL Mount with /i Technology Electrical Contacts and a durable, hard-wearing surface finish to meet the needs of the most demanding environmental conditions.
