The Camplex 500' 4-Channel ST Multimode OM3 Fiber Optic Tactical Reel is a robust and lightweight solution designed specifically for broadcast and professional audio applications. This high-quality, multi-channel fiber optic cable is engineered for multiple deployments in field production, outside broadcasting, rental houses, and more.

The tactical reel boasts a highly flexible, tight-buffered design with internal aramid strength members, providing exceptional crush resistance in high-traffic areas when handled correctly. Its polyurethane outer sheath is crafted to withstand crushing by both military tanks and outside broadcast vehicles, ensuring durability and longevity.

Each assembly is multi-stage machine polished and tested, built in Camplex's Fiber Shop with OCC Multichannel Tactical Cable and Heavy-Duty Connectors with Dust Caps. The individual ruggedized 36-inch fanouts are color-coded with Aqua or Blue to indicate the OM3 Laser Enhanced Fiber Type, ensuring 10G Ethernet compatibility.

The compact, round cable design facilitates easy transportation and deployment, making it an ideal choice for adverse environments where reduced size and weight are crucial. The helically stranded cable core offers flexibility, deployment survivability, and exceptional mechanical protection for the optical fibers.

These cables have been rigorously tested and are currently in use in military data communications applications worldwide. The Camplex Tactical Fiber Snake Reel includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel is carefully selected to ensure proper support and the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables. For optimal storage and longevity, it is recommended that tactical fiber optic cables over 25 feet be stored on a cable reel.
