Works very well cleaning the sensor in your camera as long as you read and follow the instructions.

The overall impression is appaling, however, individually, some items fare better than others. So let's begin: Vacuum - THE worst of the lot. Does the exact opposite of what is supposed to - it doesn't remove dust, it puts more on your sensor! I actually spent a few hours cleaning the mess it made (see 'Swabs'). When I first tried to turn it on, I jammed the on/off button inside the vacuum, and needed to use a screwdriver to get it out. It happened a few more times later on, so it needs to be pressed down REALLY lightly and slowly. Also, its suction power must be - 10 Watts, because even if you press the "turbo" button, or whatever it's called (it's supposed to give the Vac an extra push), nothing gets sucked in. It can barely remove tiny specs of dust from other optics (lenses, filters, LCDs...) or camera bodies. In the end, I decided to try and vacuum some regular house dust from a table and...no, it didn't happen. Scope - Pretty decent, actually, except it distorts the FOV a lot, so it needs getting used to, at least for me. It lets you see all the dust you can't clean with SensorVac. Vacuum Battery Pack - Misleading instructions. They say to just slide the battery compartment door away, but the forget to mention that there's a tiny screw that needs to be removed first. Otherwise works ok. Wands - Square shaped and come in three sizes, none of which really fits a full-frame sensor, but I can live with that, because one size is for 1.5 crop and it fits ok. What I'm bothered with is that they don't really do their job either, leaving lint and dust. They're not that terrible but are of much lower quality than other stuff I've tried. Somewhat better than rice paper wrapped around a DIY spatula, but there was really a LOT of them, so I'm kinda not disappointed. Cleaning liquid (Solution) - One item that does what it's supposed to, that's why I gave 2 stars. Dunno why they call it solution, because it solves nothing, given the other items don't do their job. Sensor pen, which is also a brush - Thou shalt not use painter's tools (a pen and a brush, they even gave me canvas in a form of a cloth) to clean your own. Use it on your lenses & filters, it'll save you some nerves. 2 stars because of this also, because I can use it for other stuff. No, seriously, don't use brushes on sensors, let alone pen, ever. Cloth - Didn't open the bag it's in, I believe that I shall find it a purpose one day, even though maybe less noble than for cleaning optics. Although they say it's for cleaning the scope, so there. Case - My favourite, for several reasons. It's size&weight is why I got charged a 100 EUR extra at the customs (when added to overall package), and probably also the reason it failed to clear the customs for several days. It, too, shall find a purpose one day. Bottom line: No, I would not recommend this to an enemy. Seriously, don't buy this, buy some Eclipse and green swabs and you're good to go. After days waiting for it to clear customs, my disappointment was even greater when I realised how gullible I was. Two stars for the liquid, pen, cloth and batteries. But I didn't really need those.

This kit is great and so easy to use the sensor vac works great for getting loose particles out of the camera body, the loupe makes it so easy to see where the dirty spots on the sensor are and the sensor pet was the best thing ever invented. My only complaint is the swabs do leave a few fibers behind but nothing horrible they come off very easily with a combination of the sensor vac and sensor pen.this kit is worth the money just for the loupe and sensor vac alone

I purchased this kit a few days ago and just had a chance to use it today after getting my 5D MKII back from Canon with a rather dirty sensor(filter). I have to say that the sensor scope was marginally usefull as was the vacuum. The biggest issue I had with this kit was the sensor swabs. They are the worst, they left what looked like dust all over the sensor that the vacuum refused to get off. I wound up going back to my left over Dust-Aid swabs and doing 4 wet cleanings before I had a useable sensor again. All in all very disappointed in this kit.
