Sensor Swabs are easy enough to use. However, don't expect to get your sensor clean with one swab. The sensor on my 5D Mark II was rather dirty and required 3 out of the 4 swabs in the package to get my sensor reasonably clean (although there's still one fairly large spot left). For the price, it still beats sending it in to Canon's Service Department.
