This SMPTE Hybrid Fiber breakout cable offers a comprehensive solution for separating SMPTE 311M into distinct optical and electrical connections.

The pre-terminated SMPTE hybrid breakout cables are equipped with 3K.93C connectors, branching out to duplex ST or LC optical connectors, sans power. These cables are ideal for use in SMPTE rack panels, splice trays, adapters, and wall boxes.

Our Breakout series is UPC machine polished to meet or surpass all SMPTE 304M/311M standards. Assembled with top-tier Belden super flexible US SMPTE standard studio broadcast cable, this product integrates a power line for TV cameras, a control line, and an optical fiber for video and audio transmission.

The cable is standardized by SMPTE for HDTV Broadcast camera use and comprises two single-mode optical fibers, four 20 AWG, and two 24 AWG tinned copper conductors cabled around a steel strength element, with an overall tinned copper braid.

This general-purpose cable is perfect for studios, patching, and light to medium field use. Its flexible PVC blend jacket ensures easy handling within the studio.

Assembled with Premium SMPTE Cable & Lemo and Senko Connectors, this product is a testament to industry-standard cables. The terminations are handled by LEMO trained technicians, ensuring the highest quality.

The electrical assemblies are 100% tested for continuity and shorts, while the fiber optic assemblies are 100% tested for attenuation and back reflection. This cable is SMPTE 311M and 304M compliant and features stainless steel assemblies, rubber dust caps, and machine polished fiber contacts.

With a transport capacity of 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps, this cable offers low insertion and return loss. Please note that the Camplex SMPTE to ST is a passive breakout cable designed to eliminate the need for high-cost Hybrid Fiber cables and facilitate simple integration using riser rated duplex cables.
