Shopper : First time cleaning my camera. Is there a tutorial for this specific kit? Also, do I replace the microfiber cloth or do I eventually just wash it?DEAN P : It is a very simple cleaning kit, small enough to keep in your camera bag. Wash or throw away the cloth when used, your call, but when it throws off fiber particles or falls apart throw away.RALPH B : Don't own this kit, but I use microfiber cloth, and it is washable.RAYMOND B : If you wash that microfiber cloth, do not use fabric softener.CHRIS M : It's very easy to clean your camera. The only difficult part is the sensor, which yes, I would at the least go to the camera manufacturers site, and download the latest manual for your camera model. It SHOULD have instructions on how to clean it there. Other wise for lenses, spray a little of the solution ON THE CLOTH NEVER SPRAY DIRECTLY ON THE LENS AS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF TOO MUCH LIQUID COULD DAMAGE YOUR LENS, and gently wipe in one direction, always one direction never back n forth as there is simply less chance of scratching the lens. This kit is kind of universal so if you really wanna 'watch' how to clean a lens, or your camera, check out some 'camera cleaning tips' for your model on YouTube. I'm sure there are more than a few. Good only if it is free
This is an add on to the typical camera or lens kits. The components are pretty basic and not of the highest quality. Some of the items are good as a starting point for a clean lens.
