It's constructed with the SMPTE 311 standard in mind, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and applications. The OpticalCON DUO NO2SX to LEMO FUW 304M Singlemode Hybrid Outside Broadcast Cable is housed in a heavy-duty tactical cable reel, designed for ruggedized applications and field deployment in commercial and professional broadcast AV applications. The cable assemblies are factory terminated and machine polished in a state-of-the-art Fiber Optic Lab, ensuring exceptionally low return loss and insertion loss. The OpticalCON features a ruggedized connector body, common LC contacts, and a mechanical shutter system to shield against endface contamination. This cable reel is equipped with two singlemode fiber UPC, 2 x AWG24, and 2 x AWG16 or (2x17AWG) stranded copper conductors, an overall copper braided shield, and a stainless steel strength member. Please note, this cable is not compatible with the SMPTE 304M standard. Designed for both indoor (studio) camera links and outdoor applications, the cable reel is assembled exclusively using the Neutrik OpticalCON ADVANCED system. This system enhances the original OpticalCON by adding lockable and waterproof metal caps as well as rubber guards, providing improved cable protection and water resistance for long-term use. The color-coding options allow for custom-built coding, adding an extra layer of versatility to this robust cable reel.
