This high-quality fiber optic cable reel is factory-terminated and machine-polished in our state-of-the-art Fiber Optic Lab, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
Crafted with the rigors of outside broadcasting in mind, this SMPTE 311M cable is designed for ruggedized applications, making it an ideal choice for commercial and professional broadcast AV applications. The machine polishing process guarantees exceptionally low return loss and insertion loss, ensuring a clear, uninterrupted signal transmission.
The OpticalCON DUO features a sturdy connector body, common LC contacts, and a mechanical shutter system, providing robust protection against endface contamination. The cable construction includes two singlemode fiber UPC, two AWG24, and two AWG16 or (2x17AWG) stranded copper conductors, an overall copper braided shield, and a stainless steel strength member for enhanced durability and signal integrity.
Please note, this cable is not compatible with the SMPTE 304M standard. It is, however, suitable for indoor (studio) camera links under specific conditions according to IEC 60664-1, such as pollution degree 1, overvoltage category 1, and rated voltage.
Exclusively assembled using the Neutrik OpticalCON ADVANCED system, this cable reel offers enhanced robustness with lockable and waterproof metal caps, as well as rubber guards.
