I would recommend this product for sure, it really helps keep the static off my material, and cleans at the same time.

Kinetronics has a long history of making the best anti-static products. This wisk doesn't disappoint for removing dust and such from prints and negatives before camera scanning

This item is useful. It does prevent some dust from appearing again in your negatives or slides, but it is a must for scanning, in combination with an anti-static cloth, an air can and other film cleaning items Ad a good technique.

Great tool for cleaning off negatives before printing. Do go in the darkroom without it.

Does a great job getting dust off the prints I am scanning and keeping it off at least for as long as I need to get them scanned. Makes the whole process much easier

Came via USPS, in tight packaging, no damage and on time, which was surprising as we are in the country and had a lot of snow so the Post person does not like to stop at our box. Product is very useful, and as my film is all 25-30 + years old will get a workout.

This is a must have for brushing off fine-art media before printing to prevent dust spots and coating imperfections from destroying prints.

This was not the brush I initially wanted - that style is no longer available. It does a fine job, but a bit longer handle would make it easier to use.

I've used a small Kinetronics brush for removing dust on lenses for a number of years and it does a good jog. I was pleased to find the 5.5 StaticWisk. It's an ideal solution for removing dust from the glass on my flat bed scanner. I also use it periodically on my monitors. I'm also using a Kinetronics Kinestat film cleaner to prior to scanning negatives and transparencies. Seems to do the job. I'm very satisfied with Kinetronic products

This brush seems to work well for removing dust from prints and negatives before scanning. Downside is they are expensive but may be a worthwhile investment if they retain the anti-static properties.

I am happy with this purchase after looking long and hard for a decent Anti-Static brush for a good price. The quality is good, not the best I have seen but at this price it might be difficult to find a better one. I just wish that the bristles were a little longer. I don’t like the plastic pouch it comes in be careful when placing it back in the pouch for storage so you don’t damage the bristles. Overall I do like this product and would recommend it to anyone who is using it on a flat surface such as scanner. I find it a little hard to clean a monitor due to its short bristles and the overall shape. Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

Use primarily in photogravure work. Large negatives emand a quality tool. This is it.

Fast and easy way to keep dust from spoiling scans of your negatives.Much better and faster than post scan cleanup in software.

What a horrible little brush. If, while brushing, the handle accidentally scrapes your mat or acrylic, it will scuff it ... And I'm talking about light strokes, not heavy handed scrapes. Very disappointed. So be vigilant, especially when hinge mounting ... It will ruin your mat or scratch your acrylic.

I'm slowly digitizing 70 years worth of family slides and negatives and needed something for the few times so far that dust has stubbornly refused to depart from a frame. So far (about 1,000 slides in) this brush has kept me from having to try and "wash" one to get rid of something. I use "Dust Off", scan and then if there's something objectionable I brush and then spray again.

Ideal for cleaning lenses before using a microfiber cloth. It ensures you are not rubbing debris on the lens.

I'm in the process of scanning thousands of old photo negatives, and was looking for something to use to clean both the scanner and the film. This kit seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It's easy to use, and soft enough so it doesn't scratch the film or the scanner glass. Nor does it leave any residue behind. Unfortunately, it doesn't do a very good job of trapping the dust or keeping the dust from resettling back on the surface, so I feel like all I'm doing is pushing the dust around.

Anti static brush is a money saver !!!
By J.R
If you own a devise like the Nook,Tablet, cell phone that all have a touch screen you will want to add a "screen saver" over the touch screen. Sounds simple enough, pull the screen off the plastic protective cover and apply to the screen, right ? Well, Mr. Static will be awakened as soon as the two are separated and every speck of dust, lint, cat/dog hair in the area will attach itself to both sides. The sticky side is the problem, you can't get it off. After ruining a $20 sheet for my new ta...

Looks so simple, works so good !

Touch screens on tablets, GPS, phones need "screen protectors" to keep finger prints and scratches off the sensitive screens. The protective covers attract dust and lint like magnets when their protective covers are pulled off prior to installation. The larger ones are a nightmare for the 10" screens. This brush worked like a charm, a few swipes over the non-sticky side and no more dust and lint !!! Its a money saver and headache stopper.
