The polyurethane outer sheath is designed to withstand crushing by both military tanks and Outside Broadcast vehicles, ensuring the product's durability and reliability. Each assembly is multi-stage machine polished and tested, guaranteeing high-quality performance. Built in our Fiber Shop with OCC Multichannel Tactical Cable and Heavy Duty Connectors with Dust Caps, this product ensures reliable and secure connections. The individual channels are ruggedized with Techflex Protection and a 24-Inch Fanout, providing additional durability. The compact, round cable design facilitates ease of transportation and deployment, making this product a practical choice for on-the-go use. Designed for use in adverse environments where reduced size and weight are important, this tactical snake reel is helically stranded for flexibility, deployment survivability, and exceptional mechanical protection for the optical fibers. Tested and in use in military data communications applications worldwide, this product can be used outdoors for temporary deployment directly on the ground in all terrains, including severe environments. Suitable for outside broadcast, industrial, mining, and petrochemical environments, this product is chemical resistant. The crush-resistant and resilient design features a thick layer of aramid strength members, and the polyurethane jacket provides abrasion, cut, and chemical resistance. This Tactical Fiber Snake Reel meets and exceeds MIL-PRF-85045 specifications. It includes broadcast fiber optic cable reels with a connector protection cavity and a hinged latching door. Each reel has been carefully selected to ensure proper support and the critical bend radius required by fiber optic cables. For optimal storage, we recommend that tactical fiber optic cables over 25 feet be stored on a cable reel. Custom lengths and configurations are always available to meet your specific needs.
