I previously have used K&F swabs and one other brand I can't remember. I recently used this brand on my SONY A7iii sensor, and when viewing some shots of sky I noticed tons of streaky dust spots. I looked closely at the sensor and saw there was a lot of spots or dust or something. So I tried cleaning again, then again, and it wasn't doing anything, which I never experienced before, so I finally decided my SONY sensor had degraded from cleanings over some years, and since my previous photo shoot was in snow (even though my cameras were plastic wrapped) I figured that the combination of older camera plus moisture must have done damage. I retired the camera and borrowed a friend's camera and when I noticed his sensor was dirty (with typical dust spots) I tried cleaning it and the sensor suddenly looked like it had tons of spots/streaks, just like my own camera's sensor! So I still had some K&F swabs in a drawer and tried one of those, and voila the spots were gone! Then tried it on my own camera and it removed them. So I'm realizing it was the filaments from the swabs that were being deposited on my sensor. Maybe I got a bad batch of them or something but I will not buy this product ever again. Thankfully my camera body is still usable. So, wasted money, wasted time and stress but the good news, my camera is still good to go and luckily I figured it out.

This kit is great. Perfectly sized for my sensor and worked very well. I only wish it included more swabs, as the rest of the kit, according to their instructions, is essentially useless.

This is more of a 'sample' kit than a full fledged sensor cleaning kit. Only 3 sensor cleaning sticks provided along with small bottle of cleaning fluid and some wipes. The zippered vinyl case seems like overkill for the paltry contents within it. The sensor cleaner kit works there's just not enough supplied with the kit to make purchasing it worth while. It's obviously a kit designed for purchasing refills on a regular basis.

I was pleasantly pleased with the Godox SL 150wII. It does what it says it does and more. I absolutely had a blast just using it for one day for an interview. It's bright and quiet. I am definitely going to get more of these powerful lights for future work.

So let's start with the simple. It's affordable and does exactly what it's designed to do. It is nearly packaged and organized. The added benefit is that the travel pouch is spacious enough to put your other cleaning supplies in. Lens wipes, microfiber towelettes, etc. You really can't go wrong with this.

It worked for me. Had a couple dust particles on the camera sensor the blower could not dislodge. Used one swab with three drops of cleaning fluid on each side. Sensor is now clean.
