I've been using Photographic Solutions products with success for several years. I use them 1-2 times per year as needed to clean the sensors of my DSLR cameras. Until recently the cleaning has been just for dust. I recently had something happen to one of my sensors however that went beyond dust. I somehow got some unknown materials on my sensor that appeared to be "stuck" on the NIkon D500 sensor. I contacted the help desk for input and talked to company founder David Stone. I explained my situation and he asked me to send him photos. He promptly responded with some additional documentation and advice on how best to clean the sensor. I followed his recommendations with great success! I'm very happy with these products and the phone support received. I can highly recommend their products!

So, some swabs tend to leave lint behind, but these are by far the best swabs I've used. They aren't the cheapest but they are the best swabs in you can buy. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again. I used this together with Eclipse optic cleaning solution which I've been using for the past 10 years.

Great for cleaning camera sensors when you see too many dust spots. Pretty straightforward, especially if you have a lighted sensor loupe.

This is my first time having to clean a sensor with something other than a puffer. The Sensor Swab worked great! A few drops of solution, being careful not to over saturate, with one swipe each direction(using the flip side of the swab for the second swipe) and the sensor was clean with no spots or streaks.

I like the ability to order a size specific to my fuji XT-2. But better yet, I don't have to wrap the sensor with a sterile wipe. The only negative is that being single use swabs I they are very expensive.

It took only one swab to get ninety percent of the dust spots off my Sony A7rii sensor. However, there are two stubborn ones remaining near both the left and right edges of the sensor, which a second swab did not remove. Hopefully, a third swab will do the trick, but I'm currently seeking professional information on how I might safely loosen those two dust spots.

Why pay Nikon big bucks when you can clean the sensor yourself. This along with Eclipse Solution will do the trick. There are videos on Youtube covering the procedure.

Cleaned my sensor with a single swab. I used the Eclipse cleaning fluid (ordered it in addition to the swabs and got it in the same shipment) with 4 drops per side (8 drops total per swab). Watching the demo video is worth it and saves you trouble.
