These work as advertised. It took me four swabs to get the hang of it but I eventually got a clean sensor. Kind of expensive learning experience. I expect to get a better return on this investment after I clean a few more sensors.

These are very expensive for what they are...single use swabs. They work as advertised. They take the solutions evenly and wipe the sensor clear. It took me 7 swabs the first time I cleaned my sensor. Now it only takes 2 or 3.

I watched the videos and read the instructions and it was all pretty easy. It took 7 swaps to get all the gunk off my sensor though. Swab 1: Too little pressure but got rid of about 50% of the spots. Swab 2: More spots removed but not all. Swab 3: Used way too much fluid and left stains on the sensor...panic. Swab 4: Back to Swab 2...whew. Swab 5, 6 and 7 finally got a persistent spot. I think I should have used the VDust plus fluid and it would've been more effective.

I had used a sensor cleaning brush to clean my sensor and got smears on the sensor. It took 3 swabs with VDust cleaner and it took care of the problem. These will be in my travel kit as well as at home base. This performed as I had hoped. I only gave it 4 stars as I have not tested other solutions to my problem.
