My camera started to show up a lot of smudges on the pictures. Initially I thought that something was wrong with the camera. A firm wanted $180 to take care of the issue. I decided to try to clean the sensor on my own. Initially I was a bit apprehensive to clean the sensor with a liquid.But after 1st application, there was significant improvement. 2nd cleaning got rid of the whole problem. An excellent product.

Visible Dust Sensor Clean is easy to use and does shift stuck on particles, though in extreme cases some scrubbing may need to be applied. A bit overpriced but it does work with the right swab. For more detail check out the Visible Dust web site.

I don't know what landed on my sensor (nikon D200) but when I attempted to clean it with air and a dry swap it only smeared. The Visible Dust cleaner cleaned the mess and did not leave streaks.

I used to use eclipse and my sensor would fog up in the winter or when ever there is change in temperature. Sensor Clean is expensive, but after trying it I know why? the solution is travel friendly, dries fast, NO STREAKS left behind, it has anit-fog property and you only need a few drops per cleaning I used it with green series visibledust swabs The results are great
