Shopper : Doesmit use batteries as well?MARK J : No, the Creative D200 is tethered to a power cord and outlet. Still, it provides a much more powerful sound than any battery powered speaker I have heard.

I am really happy and amazed at the rich bass and the room-filling sound from this smallish box.CLIFFORD L : Great. Compact, quality sound

I am delighted with my Creative D200. I have Wifi sending music from Rhapsody and our iMac to my home stereo, but don't have a stereo in the bedroom. The D200 solves that shortcoming with much of the sound clarity of my Jamo speakers. I don't need it to be too loud, but there is plenty of musical muscle for the bedroom. It was a breeze to connect the D200 via Bluetooth with my iPod Touch and iPad. I was a little concerned when I opened the box and thought I received the European version of the speaker system, because the power cord had an odd plug. Then I found the second part of the plug in the box. A simple snap, and we were good to go. Picking audio gear without listening is always a bit of a gamble, but if you are looking for quality sound at a reasonable price, the D200 is a solid choice.

The D200 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker from Creative allows you to enjoy your music anywhere you go! The compact speaker uses Bluetooth technology to stream music from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets and more at distances of up to 33' away.
