So like WOW! This thing is sweet. Nice vivid red dot, for a guy that has a red&green deficiency it’s easy to see. Fits nice on the rail. Almost fits in the soft holster but just not, argh. Which brings me to the way it gets attached. The screws, not so easy to do. Seems a small cam-lock arm or tab would be quick. That’s the point? Right? Don’t wanna fumble that small screwdriver when you need it most. At night in the dark.

Way cool

I purchased a Colt 1911 Rail Gun that had a CMR-205 already installed. This proved a problem as the installer did not use the inserts to lock it in. Well, a call to Crimson Trace got me the full insert set needed to lock it into the rail. As I was talking with the service representative, she asked me if I had the adjusting tool. I did not and she sent the inserts and two adjustment tools! I didn't even know what I had been missing. Everything is great now, the package even included a battery, which I didn't ask for. Super service!. Laser remains on target with many rounds of .45 Auto and no loosening from rail. Best customer service I have ever encountered! Thank you!

The CMR-205 is excellent, n im really happy that i decided to buy it even tho i was hesitant at first due to the fact that laser/light combos arent stupid cheap. Im still going to give it 5 stars DESPITE the fact that after i mounted the laser sight lastnight IT CRACKED & FELL TO THE FLOOR as soon as i engaged the on/off switch. I was beyond pissed cuz i didnt even crank the screws down hard, but im going to contact the Crimson Trace customer service # 1st thing in the morning & im sure they will send me some new clamps, so its really not a big deal. JUST PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION WHEN MOUNTING YUR CMR-205

My mount cracked during installation, but the CMR-205 is still worthy of a 5 star rating.

The unit itself seems adequate however when I tightened the mount to my Glock 17, the plastic mount broke with very little torque and is now unusable.

Excellent value, compact size. Have purchased several Crimson Trace products in the past, with equal results. Did experience one  problem with clamp to rail failure could of been a bad clamp(plastic)or I may of over torqued the fastener. One call to customer service and they said they would send a replacement clamp assy. out free.

I just got the Railmaster Pro for Christmas. All I can say is wow. Easy installation and operation. I can not wait to try it out!

Awesome addition to my firearm

I have had the CMR-205 on my XDS 9mm for 8 months now. It is easy to use with its ambidextrous buttons. I have fired over 1000 rounds with it installed and it has worked flawlessly. I am a left handed shooter so my biggest concern was with fit and finish. I do not use this combination for concealed carry since my holster was not fitted for it. I have practiced with using the light and laser with dry fire room clearing drills and I have taken it to the range to sight in and confirm the accuracy of the laser. In both cases it performed well.

So I purchased this for my wife's Walther P22 QD. Easy to install and easy to sight it where we wanted it - honestly it was almost right on out of the box. Light is bright and easy to manipulate on the weapon - for both my wife and I, even though we have much different hand sizes and placements when shooting. Great and planning on getting one for all my pistols!

Sturdy, easy activation, and multifunction add-on Laser/Light combo. Lugs fit well on the rail, but took trial and error to get the right insert and orientation figured out. 
 The FN 509 was not on the list of choices in the documentation.
 Use insert 1, reverse orientation for a good sturdy fit. Since cleaning is done with the pistol taken down, I secured the Lasers screws with some blue Loctite. Centered to 7 yards for a fulcrum point at 14 was 1 1/2 inches. Stays spot on and the Strobe/Laser combo works well for home defense.

FN 509 Laser/Light Combo

I LOVE this Crimson Trace laser. I was looking for one with a light and a laser and this one works great. The light is very bright and the dark room and the laser is very visible.  The laser has tightened up my groups and i couldnt be happier with this purchase.

GREAT Product!

Love the compact size, easy control access and solid build of this light laser combo. Fits any 1913 rail. Wish I had gotten the green laser  for better distance, but at the price difference, the red laser is more than adequate at night when it would be needed most. 
Strongly recommend this model / combo.

Love this solid light / laser combo

I have had a new to me red laser on my issue Glock-22 3rd gen, I have had to replace the batteries twice in a month in a half so I wasn't sure of the life of the ones I had put in as the light would blink on and off on its own when the battery is low, something you don't see mentioned in the instruction manual. I have a fresh battery in it now and so far so good, I just qualified with it and my younger brother (also an Officer) wants one bad, but I guess I missed the Holiday sale.
 Anyway, after qualifications, I checked and it is on there secure, dialed in correctly for my Glock and Ammo set up, and I let others use it, and all were as impressed with it as I was.

Red Lazer model "Rail Master Pro"

I purchased my 1st CMR-205 on 09/30/15 for my Glock 23. It was so easy to install, not much directions were needed. Setting windage and elevation very straight forward. I love it so much I got a second one on 11/24/15 for my Sig Sauer P220R. I plan to buy a thrid one for my CZ 75 P-01 next month.
 
 Holsters was the issue until I found a company called Multi-holsters. Looks like this guy will be able to make Kydex holsters to accommodate.

The CMR - 205 Rail Master pro

I just added a Rail master pro to my XD mod.2 although its tough to find a holster for it I Am very happy with the product. Easy to attach and sight in. I would suggest ordering batteries in bulk from some where the CR2 are not easy to find and are a little high when you do. Also the best thing to do is watch a set up video on YouTube because the instructions were a little lacking.

Just got my Rail Master Pro CMR-205 and installed on my Beretta 92A1 and sighted in, took about 5 minutes, so simple! Great product and simple to use with either hand since I shoot right handed or left handed!

I could write a long eloquent review for you to base your purchase off of. Nah I won't. Crimson Trace's reputation far exceeds what I could write in a few sentences. I did research about the GREEN laser and the RED laser. You should too so you understand. Just know that to me RED trumps GREEN in any tactical situation. If nothing but in the added cost you'll pay just to be COOL. Red means STOP. If that red light was shining on my shirt I'd STOP in my tracks an feel the wet on my pants. Glad I got this for my EDOC Kel Tec PMR 30. It works flawlessly night or day. Get the RED!

RED trumps GREEN that's gist me...

Perhaps CTC has rewritten its installation manual for the Railmaster Pro - I hope they have. Reference drawings are small and do not have sufficient detail. Having written technical manual myself, I wager the guy writing the CTC manual was an engineer totally familiar with the product. Lots of details were left out. ALSO, there is no manual (that I am aware of) other than the installation drawings and notes. Windage and elevation information is not readily available on sit, either.
 The CTC product functions as advertised - but unless you are a gunsmith or a really good amateur (I am not), you'll experience a frustration level that should not happen - especially for the price.

I have had the CMR-205 for about 4 months now it has been on my HK P30s everyday carry,this light/laser is awesome I have taken it to the range and has yet to loose zero. I have also not changed the batteries since i received it, laser was easy to zero.I was looking for a light laser that would not extend past the barrel like other lights do ex. Tlr1,x300.this sits flush with my P30 as well as my Glock 19.the laser is easy for me to see even in the day the light is perfect for home defense lights up the rooms nicely without blinding.would definitely recommend it and will be purchasing another
