Have had 2 of the red lasers that I bought from Natchez Shooters Supply. They were really great and helped my old eyes get on target. I like this Green laser much better, and it's much brighter. Shipping was supper fast. Would recommend this to anyone. Crimson Trace are good people to deal with.

Green laser

I have wanted the green laser for years for Para Ordance 1911. Turns out the 401 does not fit my dual thumb safety will not close with the grip installed, this could have been avoided with some training of CT customer service. The one gift I wanted came Christmas now I have to try and return it after hours of trying to make it fit. Frustrated beyond belief.

No stars

I got mine through Amazon, it installed easily, and it wasn't long before it went to the range.
 My rock is dead on at 21 feet which is conceal and carry range here, my groups are all fist size with very few fliers.
 It's been several months since it was installed with something on the order of 800 rounds plus shot through it.
 It remains on target reliable every time.
 You would be hard pressed to get a better set up.

Bought one and love it

I've had this laser for just over 3 years (couple months past warranty). It is on my EDC Ruger SR1911 that I use in my house of worship. I Literally turned it on about 12 times, just to practice with my non dominant hand. To my surprise, it just quit, diode went bad. Sent it in, they had it for about 2 weeks with no response if it was repairable. I finally emailed for an update, said they would get back to me towards the end of the week. A few hours later, I received an email saying they were not repairable (funny how that email must have reminded them). I was offered a one time 1/2 off coupon to replace them. For about a $400 set of grips, that I convinced others on our safety team to purchase, save your money and just learn how to shoot without it. I will not be using the coupon.

Great until you need it

I bought this grip several years ago as an aid in shooting without aligning the iron sights. I am consistently able to chew up the center of a target with them. The green dot is very visible at any reasonable defense distance even in broad daylight. A wonderful addition to my Range Officer.

Great Grip for 1911s

My green sight came preinstalled on a Kimber Custom Crimson Carry 2, which I shot last night for the first time. I had not shot a pistol in 10 years and this was my first time shooting a laser.
 
 
 Awesome is all that I can say. The ability to easily place rounds where you want them is a great confidence builder. 
 
 My only request it to make the sight in green for the Kimber micro 380 as well.

A great product. Easy to adjust sights from factory setting. The green laser is so much easier to see in daylight. Literally point and shoot.

LG-401G

I first purchased the wrong grips, but ADORAMA made it a pleasure to return the wrong item and get the correct grips. The instructions were well written  and the grips went on within 5 minutes. At the range, the laser was real easy to adjust and I was firing a tight group within the second magazine. The pistol is much more enjoyable to shot and turning off the laser is easy. I like the fact the I do not have a big laser hanging off of the pistol, making it nose heavy. Hutch W.L.A.

The LG-401G was a direct fit to my Remington r1 carry 1911, not only does it look better than the original grips the function of the green laser is incredible. It turned a decent firearm into something awesome. I have been using my Crimson Trace lg-401g for over a year now, it is very bright, very accurate, reliable and way too much fun to use. I have the red Crimson Trace on other guns but the 1911 with the green laser is still the best. I highly recommend this product. It will not disappoint.

Green laser grips are fantastic

I have had red CT grips on revolvers for years. When I bought my first Kimber, it was a 1911 Pro Crimson Carry II with red laser grips. A great gun but a little long for concealed carry. I kept that one but added a Kimber 1911 Ultra Crimson Carry II with green laser grips for concealed carry. The red grips are great but the green grips are even better, particularly for outdoor shooting in the New Mexico sun.
 
 Result: For my Christmas present this year, I have asked my daughter for a set of green CT grips for replacement on my Pro Crimson Carry II. Anyone want to buy a set of red CT red grips for a full size 1911 at 50% of new MSRP?

I have nothing but good things to say after about 2 years of having them I finally have to get new batteries but I heard Crimson trace supply's free batteries for life so the grips are awsome accurate and they do the job well worth $400

1911 green laser grips

In my review of 1/23/16, I stated that the Green laser was brighter than the Red. Turns out the batteries were dying, making the red dimmer. I changed the batteries and, lo and behold, they were equally bright. The Green is still better in daylight, though.

Regarding Green over Red brightness...

As bad as i hate to admit it but as i have grown older it seems that the eyesite isnt what it once was, with that be said the green laser on my kimber from crimson trace makes taking aim is a breeze. I own several of these laser for different weapons and have found that i am a much better shot with them than without them truly a great addition to the old aging eyes!

Truly Awesome

I bought the LG-401G lasergrips for my Ruger SR1911 (model 6700) full-size. Having the red CT grips on my Kimber, I wanted a green set for my Ruger. As others have said, the green is much better than the red in daylight. In low light, the green appears about twice as big as the red lasers, and much brighter. Installation took about 30 minutes and the fit was perfect on the SR. Shoots to point of aim at 50' out of the box, as advertised. Activation with the front switch is easy without affecting your grip. This is my 4th set of CT lasergrips. That, alone, should tell you how much I love CT grips. If your eyes aren't what they used to be-and even if they are-and you want to shoot better and faster, you should definitely consider getting a set for your gun. They are a bit pricey but, in my opinion, they're an upgrade that's worth it.

Better than red in daylight...

The green LG-401G on my Springfield 1911 is a pleasure to use! The green is much brighter than the red. works very well with my 74 year old eyes!

Makes those dimly lit indoor ranges fun!

This is my third set of CT grips and my first in green. As usual, CT grips were easy to install and pretty much dead on right out of the box. Green should be an option on all sights. Daylight visibility is 100 times better than the red. Some people have remarked that the psychological impact of the green dot is not as strong as the red but I think that is far less important than being able to acquire my target in any lighting quickly. If a perp doesn't recognize the threat due to the color, oh well, as long as I am still around after the fight to lament his mistake.

Great for daylight use

I received the grip and installed them, without any problems.
 
 I am a Police Officer and Tac team leader, the Green Laser has made my Identification easier, I am the only one with a Green Laser. Other members are considering purchasing them for their pistols and rifles.
 
 The Green Laser has given me the ability to cover greater distances and larger area.

great product and wonderful customer service

Easy to use and very accurate. Installed on my Kimber Supermatch. I had to trim down the side of the safety on the side the laser is on. No big deal for a righty. It doesn't matter how far out I run the target, the bullet goes where the green dot is. At the range, first they notice the green laser, then people notice the small hole torn out of the center of the target. I'm luvin' it.

Great accuracy

I have been in the market for a grip and laser combo that could be seen during the day time. The red dot works great in low light but not to well in the day light that is why I decided on the Green Dot for my Springfield 1911. it was easy to install from the start. The sight was almost dead on right out of the box. the only thing I would have to say is the battery life if just left of in the box does not last to long. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone who has a 1911.

Overall great laser for the money

I installed this on my Sig Sauer 1911 Tac-Ops. Unfortunately, the Sig has an ambidextrous safety which results in the safety being blocked by the laser node on the grip on the right side. So, it looks like I will have to modify my 1911 to use the grip.

I've had my green laser for 2 years now on my Sig 45, I am waiting for them to come out with a rose wood green for my Kimber45

Perfect

I installed this laser on my Kimber Stainless Gold Match II handgun that I use for everyday carry. Compared to the red CTC laser that came stock on my Kimber Ultra CDP II with Lasergrips the green laser is so much more visible at night and especially during the day! It's true what they say. Once you go green you'll never want to go back to red. I just wished they sold this grip in other colors/wood grains besides just black.

What a great product, with "Kimber" written across the black rubberized pressure switch. Just makes the whole weapon more effective at 50' period, once zero'd. Possibly a little high on the MSRP @ $400 due to getting them on this "Heirloom" type pistol Is exactly what I wanted, the best production 1911's made here in USA with these top shelf Crimson laser grips made it a must have a week after holding it at local gun shop.

Stock on Crimson Carry II Pro by Kimber Arms

I have been waiting for this green laser application for a long time. I am very pleased with the finished product. It looks good and fits prefectly on my full size Kimber. The green dot is very visable even in bright daylight. I found the laser was very easy to install on my gun and it is also very easy to adjust for shooting accuracy. I just wish I had one for my Para Ordinance P-14 also.
 
 My duty weapon is a Sig Sauer P220 and I have had a red laser on it for years. I have always liked this red laser and have appreciated how it makes it much easier to get on target (expecially in low light situations), but I am amazed at how much easier the green laser is to see during the daylight hours.

Great quality. Very visible, even in daylight. Easy to adjust for accuracy.

I have been using Crimson for the past 10+ years. They are great for fast moving targets and shield work. It also gives that intimidation aspect where it makes the other person know you have the bead on him.

I wanted to upgrade my Kimber 1911 Custom II and maintain the tactical black with a high quality product for decent price .. Bingo .. Ha, ha! .. I found the new LG-401G with black grips online .. took only 3days to get 'em .. and they fit perfectly .. factory set (zero sighted) at 50' was right where I liked it .. and the Green tracer dot .. boy oh boy .. can't miss it .. with Instinctive On .. Fantastic for Home Defense!

 It's very easy to adjust for any given distance. This a real must have if you want to equip your pistol for home defense at night.

Great Laser Grip

I have had the red laser (LG-401) for a few years and loved it. Then I purchased the LG-401G green laser!!! All I can say is WOW!! Much brighter and easier to see. Highly Recommended!! Once you go Green you won't go back.
