i have an older set of these on my MKll and am upgrading to the newer ones - the activation switch on the older ones is horrible, but CT recognized this and upgraded them and now they are perfect. i also have these on my Browning HiPower, again perfect. i do wish these were available with a GREEN laser. on a side note, my CHL instructor used me/my laser equipped firearm as an example of not relying on lasers for proper shooting (he is correct) and i told him the side benefit of lasers is in Extreme Intimidation. think about it, you are in a situation where you are pointing/aiming your weapon at an assailant and the laser is dancing around his face/eyes - that is definitely going to freak them out.

The laser grips on my Competition Slab side Mark II have been a terrific training aid to teach my wife, children and grand children proper trigger control and follow through. I have Ten (10) Crimson Trace sighting systems....4 green and 6 red. I would not own a self defense firearm without them. I have a Master Series set in each color for two 1911's. Please make an ambidextrous, Green, Master Series set for the Ruger Mark IV and I promise you will sell at least one. Crimson Trace redefines "Fun" at the gun range. Thanks for a great product. After thousands of rounds, I have never experienced a failure with any of them.

Aside from this LG-403 set of CT grips, I have 4 other sets for my other pistols. As always, these grips were installed in less than 30 minutes and shot to point of aim at about 50', right out of the box. I bought my first set of CTs because my eyes aren't as eagle-eye as they used to be and the front sight was fuzzy. The CTs made a big difference in my hit ratio with laser sights as opposed to sights only. After that, fitting my other pistols with CTs was a no-brainer. They work so well that I didn't even consider any of the competitors brands. With the price of these grips, I probably could have bought another pistol, but being able to hit with those I already own makes this money well-spent.

As a senior shooting the crimson trace is a big help! Using golf balls as targets is fun again! Reguired only two clicks to0 zero my competition Mark III to consistently keep those little golf balls hopping! Wish there was a green beam model! Have the CT-404G green on my 9mm-seems much brighter than the reds!

My wife and I both love all of our Crimson Trace laser grips, but I do have one complaint. I REALLY need one in green for one of my Ruger Mark IIIs. :-)

Able to shoot a glass bottle from the top down in accurate increments, time after time. The laser aids in developing uncanny trigger control.
