I still give it 5 stars even though you need to adjust it after you shoot at the range, you are just going to need it for protection on the carry gun. You are not going to sit there and go through 100 rds if you have a home invasion, and you shouldn't be that bad of a shot anyway, or you shouldn't own a firearm. Easy to put on. and easy to adjust sites.

The LG-447 is a precise fitting quality laser. It makes my 709 Slim go from "dorky" looking to handsome. Buy it based on that alone. Sometimes with "old eyes" one needs a little help out at the range. The laserguard fits the bill. Thank you CT!

It performs as any Crimson Trace Laser does, GREAT. After installed it still fits in my conceal carry IWB holster. Great product and would recommend.

I have had this laser for just about a year now and it is spot on target and I have never had to re-adjust it at all. Absolutely the best laser available for the Taurus Slim PT-709. You will not be disappointed!

I just returned from the range. I shot 200 rounds of 115g FMJ. I made no adjustments, just installed and shot. From 15' and 25', I was right on target. At 50' I kept inside a 12" area. I have 800 rounds through my 709 Slim now and never kept my groupings as tight as today. This is my 3rd Crimson Trace product. I have the LG-489 on my M&P Shield and the Rail Master on my SD9VE. All perform exceptionally well. All my future guns will be equipped with Crimson Trace. Hopefully I'll be adding a green laser in the near future.

Could not get the proper sight adjustment out of the Taurus 709 Installed the LG 447, dead on target no adjustment needed. Turned a regretted purchase into an everyday carry.

Having never installed anything like this before, the instructions and video made it very easy to install. I took it to my range to zero it to seven yards and it took only two small adjustments to put it on target. Not a single problem with it. I really love the Lifetime battery supply too!

I have had my lg-447 laser guard on my pt-740 for 6 months now and after around 200+ rounds it has still held its zero!! I absolutely love having this laser on my gun because it is my primary carry gun! The front activated button right below the trigger guard is the easiest I have ever seen as far as not having to remember and fumble around trying tofind the activation but! Keep up the good work guys 5 stars on this one!!!!

Having tried three other laser sights , I tried the L:G 447. To my surprise this one out performed all the rest, as advertised. After 300 rounds fired, the LG 447 still holds the target zero sight in. It was exceptionally easy to zero in and HELD the sight in as opposed to others I had tried with fewer rounds fired.

I got this to fit my Taurus PT 709 . Knowing that the most likely use of the pistol will be in low or no light conditions I ordered the LG447. While I have not been able to match it to a shot group what I have seen when trying it out without firing has been very accurate. I am impressed with the range of the beam, it is almost 150 feet from my back door to my shop and wow there was the dot. Great job I only hope I never have to use it for what I got it for.

The LG-447 is so well crafted it appears to be an integral part of the gun. It's bright. It's simple and easy to adjust on the range with the included hex tool. The product comes pre-sighted for 50 feet. However I sighted mine for 21 feet given the primary purpose of the 709 in my case (and I suspect many others) is concealed carry. In my opinion you won't go wrong purchasing this product.

This is the best laser ive ever had! I had my doubts when i was reading that they come sighted in from the factory, its 100% true, out of the box i put it on took it to the range and fired away, Very accurate, Very bright, Very reliable, Great battery life!! I plan on buying another one for my XD.

Ordered the LG - 447 shortly after buying the slim 709. The 447 added amazing versatility to the 709. Don't have to line up the metal sights and can react and shoot much quicker. Just put the red laser dot on your target. Even works well in the sun. Considering buying an LG for all my guns.
