I bought the LG-453 for my XDM full size 40 S&W. It was very easy to install and has worked flawlessly since I installed it. I have an LG-496, which is red on my XD MOD2 40 S&W and it will be replaced with an LG-496G as soon as they are back in stock. Would recommend this product to everyone.

I put this gem on my XDm 45 threaded 4.5 barrel and man let me tell you its surgical. I put the laserguard on in like three minutes. Super bright day or night . Fits my Alien gear IWB holster perfectly. I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT LIKE I KNOW SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE MAY BE .... ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND PLAN TO BUY AGAIN FOR MY OTHER PISTOLS AND I GOT MY EYE ON THAT LINQ SYSTEM NEXT.

I love my SA 3.8 .45 cal. The LG-453 just made it an even better firearm. I love the instinctive activation of the LG-453. I like the manual on/off switch, because sometimes I will shoot my carry gun in competition where lasers are not allowed. I've shot this laser at high noon and can still see the laser standing 15 yds from the target. I have a LG-469 on my XDS, but will be replacing the red laser for the new LG-469G. I have not had any problems with CTC lasers and the batteries for life program is AWESOME.

Quick install and secure fit. Protrudes 12mm past the front of the slide/barrel. Not an issue for me and still fits the holster (Crossbreed). Had a rail-mounted laser on it but did not like depending on my remembering to turn in on under stress, so I bought this one. Having the pressure switch on the grip is worth the protrusion in the front as it affects nothing. Boresighted it and took 3" difference out at 30 feet.

Received my new LG-453 for my XDM 3.8 Compact 9mm. Attached in just a couple of minutes. Been working with the guns mounted sights and can hold a "Pretty Tight" grouping. Fired it with the new LG-453 and now I can say that I can hold "Tight" groupings. The laser made for very accurate shots while practicing holster draws from multiple positions. My wife was so impressed with it that she just ordered a LG-489G for her M&P Shield 9mm.

Just got my LG-453 and installed it on my XDM 9mm 4.5" and the laser is very easy to see in daylight conditions or brightly lit rooms. It doesn't matter if the target is 10 feet or 50 feet and beyond. You are basically point blank with this laser and cant miss unless you have a sneezing/allergy attack or something, and even then I still think you would hit your mark. The fit feels solid on the gun when easily installed, and you don't feel like if you accidentally bang the weapon against something that the laserguard is going to fall off like some of the more delicate mounted lasers. Definitely inspires confidence for home defense when quick reaction time means everything. I highly recommend this product for both its quality and its capability.

While the LG-453 is advertised for the XD and XD(M) full-size, I have a compact XD(M - 3.8) and the LG-453 fits the rails just fine. The only small issue is that it is it is about 1/4" longer than the barrel. But no problem, the weapon is still a very good concealed carry weapon. The green laser lights up the surrounding area at night and is visible at over 50 ft during the bright day light. Haven't had it on the range as of yet, but I am pretty sure it will improve accuracy. Were I to be lit up by the green laser, I would find it very intimidating. Now to get a new carry holster.

I have a red laser for my sub compact 3", and now the green 453 for my XD 9mm V10 4". The green is the best and shows in bright daylight. Outstanding products from Crimson Trace. I am left handed and Crossbreed Holsters makes holsters for Crimson Trace lefties and it is an inside the waistband and is great!!! EP,Texas

I have had mine now for about 6 months, it's mounted to my XDm 5.25 .40 very easy to install and adjust. Very tight shot groups every time, had to use it for real one night outside the house for a possible prowler, scanned across the front hedges with the laser and wow very intense. If the bad guy happened to see it, I'm sure he wet himself. I just bought an XDm 3.8 compact .40 and will be buying another LG453 for it.

I have both a LG448 for myXDM 3.9 and a grip laser for my 1911 and both have been and are great. Reason I purchased them is for accuracy during an emergency inside and outside the home.

Broad daylight 50 yards away? Ya, I see the green dot. Insane. Lights up the damn room in the dark (for that personal protection touch). I do not represent or know anybody who owns the green laser from Crimson Trace. All I know is, I did my research (so did Crimson Trace, obviously) and they proved my research correct. You will find no better green laser device. Buy it already, before you wish you wish you did. FYI, fits Springfield XD-40 nicely, now for a positive review on a holster. Crimson?!!

I recieved my LG 453 Green Laser about 10 days after ordering online. The process was painless and exactly as advertised. The Laser I attached to my XDM 3.8 Compact fit perfectly and was assembled by myself onto my gun in 5 minutes. The laser is very strong and the workmanship of the laser is outstanding. Be advised on the 3.8 compact the laser sticks about 1/8" out past the end of the gun barrel. This is not an issue at all with me and the gun performs wonderfully with the easy to activate strap button. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to put a laser on their XDM. I use mine with the supertuck cc made for it by CTC.

Installed easily on my brand new Springfield xd 9mm. It's been years since I shot a pistol. I was able to group a 6 inch pattern at 40 feet without making any adjustment. My son was unable duplicate a pattern with his Smith- Wesson 9mm. Handed him mine and he was able to group the same pattern. Needless to say he's getting a Crimson Trace laser for his 9 mm. Looks amazing and intimating. Very happy with purchase.
