The LaserGuard LG-469 laser mounted perfectly on my Springfield XDs as I figured it would. Crimson Trace lasers have never let me down and I suspect this one to be the same. The Blade-Tech holster, not so much. First off, I consider it a freebie so nothing really lost. It did fit my gun but it didn't really fit me. The pointed shape of it, it being strictly Kydex or plastic or whatever it's made of, with no backer makes it extremely unforgiving on any body part it comes in contact with. It will become "an emergency use only" and go "into the box" until needed. But great price on the laser and a freebie holster, not a bad deal by any means. Thanks Adorama for the great pricing.

Bought the LG-496 for my everyday carry on my Springfield Armory XD in May 2018. This one stopped working within a few months and had to have it replaced under warranty. I carry it in a Crossbreed holster. This laser seems to run thru batteries very fast. Checked the holster and it does not appear that the holster in contacting the switch.

The laser provides a much better aiming experience for me as I have a slight strong-hand tremor (Parkinson's). Have had no problems with a secure fit so hope those that have had that bad experience can get a simple fix, like maybe the mounting screws are on the wrong side as I saw in one of the review responses. I have recommended this product to several friends and will continue to do so.

The sight has flaws in its fit. The sight will come off in your hand when shooting / practicing with it. The slot where you fit the lazor in below barrel is to small. Recoil will loosen it....shots will be off and eventually fall off into your hand. I ask them for suggestions to keep in place.. Haven't heard back from crimson trace. If you plan to keep it from falling off your gonna have to silicone glue it in place..It will work...But now it won't come apart to replace batteries easily. Other than design ...I love the lazor....It's spot on! Make sure you can return it before you buy! Just a fore warning Todd - please call 800-442-2406. Sounds like you have the mounting screws installed on the wrong side.

I bought one of these great single stack pistols, that came with the LG-469 from Springfield. The accuracy and low recoil from this pistol is unbelievable. The CTC laser just makes it better in every way possible. I also bought the leather holster from Crimson Trace--GREAT!

Just picked up the LG-469 for my newly purchased XDS and i couldn't be any happier with the fit and style it brings to the already eye catching features of the XDS. Definitely will help the wife line up in any emergency use for home defense or conceal carry. Recommend to any and all. Thank you CTC for developing a great product.

I had doubts about the design of this from the beginning as stated. After numerous times of it failing to stay on the Xds I sent it in to the factory..They charged me fair and what I thought to be proper price to make it right and replace it with another model..I was dealt with in the nicest professional manner possible..My headache with the sight is over and peace has been restored..I should of called and voiced my concerns long ago..Thank You CTC I am now a proud owner of four CTC sights instead of three..

There were some issues a noted in some of these reviews and I am here to assure you they have been fixed. At one point manufacturing of this model was suspended until all the kinks could be worked out. I have had mine now since Feb 2015 and have had no problems with it. If you do just call customer service, they are great people no questions asked.

The LG-469 attached properly the first time. The sight stays on the money and never moves. Its the only way to go.

I put this on my XD's .45 last fall. I wear it almost daily in a modified Glock .357 Sig ankle holster and it works perfectly. The point of aim stays constant and it is very accurate at close range with the 3.3 barrel. It especially gives me confidence when I walk my dog outside at night. I'm currently waiting for my LG-901 to arrive so I can mount it on my Sig .45

I own two LG-453´s and they mount more securely on the rail, than this one does, CT dropped the ball on this one..Does not secure on the rail at all, just fits between two of the slots..I don´t understand why it couldn´t be attached to the rail, just like the 453...Very bad decission to make it like that..Not happy in the least...If CT comes out with a green version, I hope they utilize the rail a little more intelligently. This laser wasn´t cheap, but the effort into it? design was...

The slot where you slide the laser in, is not big enough on the laser, so it comes loose all the time. This is dated Nov 2014 thought they were improving it by then. Its pretty useless like this, see how they make good on this. I have 4 other crimson no problem, but nothing with this design.

The laser is terrific. I've had it for almost a year and the battery is still working well. The instructions to properly sight in the laser were easy to read and understand. They are absolutely correct-it doesn't take much turning of the adjustment screws to move the laser. My only beef with Crimson Trace is that they say the laser is sighted in at the factory at 50ft. If that's true, then they must be sighting it outside with a 50mph wind coming from the East. My laser was up 1/4 turn and left a full turn. I could see if it was up a full turn, but not left a full turn. Best thing about having a laser is that just showing it to your would-be attacker might be enough to scare them off. If the would-be attacker is not running at you, but making threats to attack you. just point the laser down at the ground and then slowly point the laser up along the ground until it is pointing at the attacker. Wave the laser up/down at him on the ground so he can easily see you have a laser on your gun and will not miss. Once he notices the laser, point it directly on his chest. He'll decide it's better to run away than be blown away. Cool tactics to avoid shooting someone and still be able alive to tell the story.

I have 5 other CTC lasers. This one seemed dim, when compared to the others, from day 1. I sent it back. Great customer service. I was told there was a loose contact and it was returned. Opened the package and the brightness was the same. I had asked, and have asked repeatedly, if the laser module has been changed, but have yet to get an answer. I decided that the newer lasers must be dimmer than the older ones. After going to the range and shooting both indoor and outdoor, the difference in brightness was unacceptable. Came home and took comparison photos and this grip was about half as bright as my others. Contacted CTC and received a replacement laser (appeared to be a refurb, but that was ok). The replacement laser was the same brightness as what I had, so I just returned the replacement. Hopefully CTC will do a green laser for the XDs.

Looks nice and is the most expensive out there but the laser moves and I have to constantly adjust. I am currently having trouble with it just turning on by itself as well. I have one on my LC9 and it works way better and is solid no movement, its the way they have it mount to the front is what does it.

Bought an Xds for my first carry gun. A few months later I saw the LG469 made for the xds and ordered one up. Glad I did! It fits great and the power button is on the front of the grip and it's ready to go as soon as you grip it. Mine has stayed true after the initial adjustment and it fits awesome! You would think it was right from the gun's own factory. Great product!

I have a XDs that I carry every day. Added the LG-469 laser to it and really like it but the laser could be improved. The laser only locks onto the trigger guard, with a tab that goes into the recoil lug on the rail. With the recoil from a .45 the laser will move up and down. Also, with nothing to lock into the groves on the rail any side pressure will move the laser left and right. It looks like these problems could be eliminated by making the laser lock to the rail as well as the trigger guard. I had problems first laser turning off when shot. CT sent me a new battery, and when I went to change it I found that there was corrosion on the contacts. This was on a 3 week old laser using the factory battery after 300 rounds. Called CT again, told them what was up, and they sent out a new laser with return postage paid for the old one. CT has a great rep for customer service and I now see why. One of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Brittnie C. in customer service was very helpful and friendly and I had the new laser within a week. I hope I don't have problems with the new laser because I did find an IWB holster I really like from RKBA Holsters . com that fits the XDs with the LG-469 perfect and was right at $50.00 with about 3 weeks from order to door, and have ordered another holster from Side Guard holsters that should be here in a few weeks. With a couple of small changes this laser could be perfect choice for what, in my opinion, is the perfect concealed carry firearm.

Ive carried the xds with the laser guard for some time. I loved everything about it, but had a continuing problem with it coming loose. I would retighten it and would be good to go. Finally when I pulled the gun out I found the laser guard had come loose and had been lost. I noticed several similar reviews on this and other websites. Hopefully CTC gets this defect fixed as this is otherwise a great product.

Installed on my Springfield Armory XDS .45 ACP in minutes. Works great at the range, just needed small adjustment at the range at 50 feet. Probably because the gun is new to me and because of my technique and not the laser.

it worked well but... it made the grip slightly smaller, thus changing the feel of the gun. The XDs has a small grip, and the laser unit made it smaller to the point that the grip no-longer fit my hand very well. I liked the laser, it's too bad fro me that it altered my grip on the weapon.

This item was very simple to mount to my Springfield Armory XD-S and within a few minutes, I had the confidence of being able to properly operate this sight in most conditions. I even had my wife, who has never handled or fired a pistol, feel comfortable with the use of it. Great product! Now to get a holster for it!

I bought this laser for myself for Christmas. It was VERY easy to install, was accurate enough from the factory to use right away, very little tweak to center the laser. Just when I thought I couldn't love my XDs any more, now I do! Laser looks like it was molded as part of the gun, and fits great in my IWB Hybrid from Multi Holsters dot com. Definitely need to clean the laser after each trip to the range due to it's proximity to the barrel as this little pistol is a dirty dirty girl, but I'm not complaining at all. Great piece, now to go order one for my SR9c!

After several hundred rounds it got tired of hanging on to the trigger guard and the paper thin grooves in the plastic that holds on to the guard tore loose and it also pulled loose from the picatinny rail. I was mid-magazine when I noticed that it had started shooting ridiculously high. I am pretty sure it was caused by stress from the recoil--either stress applied downward on the grip area where the button is or stress from the trigger finger banging against the bottom of the trigger guard during recoil (my trigger finger gets sore on the under side after a box or two from slipping down the trigger and being banged or pinched against the guard). I sent pics of the broken item to Customer Service. I gave 4 stars for how great it worked but may revise based on how well they respond to resolving the durability issue.

bought the lg469 for a Christmas present to myself, and i love it read the directions installed it and did not over tighten screws adjusted it to my preferred range and its as accurate as anyone could ask for but i'm disappointed though, i noticed tonight that after having it almost 3 months its cracked on both sides at the front of the trigger guard

I was only able to get 2 screws in of the three and directions seemed wrong as I put the screws in the other side. and have to get a new holster. The Laser is better then all the others I have tried. It is straight below the barrel so there is no correction needed side to side (Lasergrips style) which to me is worth the investment of another holster. The grip trigger for the laser to go on is the selling point over another laser I saw which required you to flip a switch to turn on. Really? This is an awesome product. just needs some tweaking.

I give it a 4 star rating because of the price, but i will admit I didn't hesitate when ordering this product. Having shot with both the lasergrip (glock 26) and laserguard (LCP380) on other guns, crimson trace won me over right away. Installation took less than 10 min. ***** Awesome addition to my XDs. Looks, feels, and functions better than I ever imagined. Recommend to all handgun owners! Also crimson trace offers FREE BATTERIES FOR LIFE! (OLD FAITHFUL HOLSTERS is the how I carry)
