I Purchased these grips in 1998 while in the military and have used them ever since. I replace the batteries every year during my annual tear-down and cleaning, and never had a problem. I adjusted them when purchased and the zero has not changed in 22 years. The front activation button is conveniently located so when gripping the pistol the laser comes on without even thinking about it. The unit is chemical resistant and has not discolored from cleaning agents or wear from use. I am very pleased with these laser grips and would not hesitate to purchase another set for any of my firearms.

Perfect solution for low-light situations, ie., < 5 Ft Candles when the fixed sights are difficult to acquire. In dark dark (your house at night when everyone is asleep) the red laser is a beacon. Red is preferable in low light because it does not degrade night vision. In higher ambient lighting conditions, my sights provide better accuracy. This product has never failed in 4 years of use.

Had mine since 16 February 2014. Love this thing my only regret would be I should have gotten the green one. Red is nice in the dark, but in the day outside at the range not so much...Other than that...very reliable tool. Just point and click

Works well. I also have the LG-405. I have smaller hands so I like the 105 better. The 405 has an air pocket on top of the backstrap which makes the grip slightly larger. The grip material is better on the 405, but I prefer having the smaller grip over the better material.

I have 2 Lg-301 CT laser sights on my 2 Colt 1911a1s and they are perfect, especially the side switches, I wish you made a LG-301 style laser grip for my Browning 1911-380.

Worked well for the first two years then went out. Old batteries tested at 3.15 V., very good. Tried new batteries (3.2 V). Customer service of no help, said out or warranty. Wish I knew of a better brand

I just purchased my forth laser grip from Crimson Trace because of their reliability. I have never had one moment of trouble with any of them.

My first set of Crimson Trace were for my Bersa Thunder. I was so pleased I ordered a second set for my Kimber Custom II. As you get older you really start to appreciate laser sights and there are none better than Crimson Trace. The only complaint I have is that when I tried to order a set for my Mossberg 500 they are out of stock and have been for awhile.

Bought one for my wife and the grip feels great to her but could not activate the switch. So I gave it another try my self and it is to short to comfortably activate. I would have given it 2 stars but my wife likes pink! I guess that I will be modifying it to make it work.

Both my wife and I own one of these laser units she has the 4-inch and I have the Tactical 5-inch XD 40 I love mine and she does with hers we have our own rifle range and I have Targets out a hundred yards and in the night time when you can't really see the light enough to line up your sites that laser comes through and the targets go down. The way they activate is second nature you don't have to think to turn it on you grab the pistol out of the holster and it's on lineup for. Slowly squeezed boom Target down I love it

These are for my wife's Beretta Tomcat. The sights are a little hard to acquire , especially in low light conditions. These grips solve the problem. Very easy to install, very clear instructions. This is my wife's carry price . We pray we will never have to use the firearm for that purpose, but if we do this sight will keep you on target.

I’ve had these laser grips for 6 years now. Reliable, bright, and easy to use. Took them off to see how presentation grips would look and lost the screws. One call to CT and they were replaced for free with batteries also. Made me feel like I was their most important customer even though I spent very little. That,s a great way to do business.

I have this CT grip on my German made air pistol (Beeman P1/HW45 in .20calibre). They retail for around $450 I had to trim the right safety For the laser to travel. Awesome practice weapon if you own a colt45 or 1911. This laser site was the best choice though some people in the airgun community think it was too expensive. In my opinion, it’s the way to go. Have it for 8 yrs with no problem. I use this practice airpistol everyday with this laser .

Helps maintain accuracy by dry firing with snap caps when I don't have time for the range. Very accurate for practical use.

I like most people am right-handed,... far too often my index finger blocks the laser beam when getting my sight picture. I believe if laser were placed on other side or at least have that purchase option, I would purchase another CTC system.

Works as advertised- easy to zero. The materials feel “fragile”. Time will tell if they hold up

Let me say first, I bought this as a "toy", (though it is NOT a toy). I've used Laser type "finders" on telescope equipment for many years and once aligned, they are very helpful to get "On Target", regardless it be a paper target, a planet or an alignment star. Alignment is very easy, using a provided wrench, to adjust azimuth and elevation. Nothing to it. My only wish is that I had spent a bit more for the rubber grips as these are the plastic grips. Guess I was looking for a bargain AND I found one. By the way, it's only as accurate as whomever is setting it up. I've been a handgun enthusiast since the 1960's and seldom have hunted or fished without a handgun in m my pocket, or on my hip. Now I have one with a Crimson Trace.

Was excited to pick up a CT grip laser for my Taurus 85 revolver. Putting them on was easy and then I noticed that the grip moves about 1/16 of an inch due to the grips leaving a space around the lower frame. Moves the laser point enough to make reliable aiming a problem. Tightening them even more didn't help. I have 3 other CT lasers on other guns and all fit well and work flawlessly. Unfortunately this pair for the Taurus 85 sits in the box, not on the gun.

The LG-105 is an excellent laser - but I suggest that CT also make this same size with a Green laser for a S&W J-Frame. Now that would be an ideal combination.

NIce, very nice grip. I wanted a grip very close to the factory on my S&W 642 and this was it. You pick up the handgun and the laser goes on. No special holster needed!

Bought a LG-185 some time back for my wife. Went to a the range where I noticed some movement of the grips on the frame. My wife was not happy with the pistol caliber so put it back in the box until I contacted Crimson about the problem this week. They informed me that it would not fit my frame which appears to be post 2014 production. So I went to their website and sure enough on a back page tab at the bottom of the paragraph. This was important enough to be posted on the main page of the 185 in large print. THEY WILL NOT REFUND! I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER CRIMSON PRODUCT. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

On the web sight will not fit model 85's manufactured after 2 014. The problem is the grip attachment is a press fit pin. If you don't mind hammering the pin out. the grip will fit fine........taurus go back to the screw on grips what did you save 1 cent per gun. Worth the effort as laser works perfect

On a S&W 329PD it really helps target acquisition. The activation switch is a bit awkward for us with long fingers and large hands as the finger is partially blocked by the trigger guard. That is only why a '4'

I'm getting older and my eyes can't focus well on such a short sight radius on my XD sub compact. My first remedy was to have the optometrist instal reading lens on my shooting glasses on top of the lens instead of bottom. Worked great on the range but I don't wear them off the range. Along comes CT. Now I'm dead on target on or off the range. Tighter groups than anyone 20 years younger with their iron sights. It does widen the grip some that's why the 4 stars. Other than that PERFECT ! ! !
