The product is great. My first laser sight of any brand or kind. I'm delighted with the hardware. But I'm trying to register for warranty on-line and your system just doesn't allow me to get there even though your form in the box says I can. Get it straight and I bounce this to the 5 it deserves. But the hardware is only part of the deal and the rest is your company's attitude toward the customer. AND - buyers - beware your Laser Guard serial number is INSIDE the casing of the product. Record that before your install or you'll just be taking it off again. Your guess as to which number inside there is actually the serial number. These folks aren't too good at this yet.

I was finding it hard to hit a soda can at 25ft w/ Sig P238. Now I can hit a shotgun shell at 50. Target acquisition much faster, regular cans don't stand a chance!

I bought the green laser for my wifes P238 about a year ago. The fit is excellent and the feel is very nice. It has worked flawlessly and consistently. At night, we can see the laser dot a good 600 feet away. No adjustments needed, and shot 10 ring at 30 feet right out of the box. This will not be my only Crimson Trace.

Snapped the Laser half on my wife's P238 and sighted it in. Had to adjust it as it was 2" high and 3" right at 10Yds. Mounted the other half and tightened the screws. Yup, now 2" low and 3" left. At least I got practice adjusting it. P.S. my wife loves it now that I'm done playing with it.

As expected, this Crimson Trace fits the weapon well, feels good in the hand, and works excellently. Had to make a minor alteration to fit my Hogue grips but it wasn't a big deal and it still works and feels great. Can't go wrong with Crimson Trace.

Bought this for my P938. Had to cut the rubber grip with a razor so laser would fit but this only took a few minutes. Have only had it on for about a month and it's working great so far. Was perfectly sighted from factory and increases my shoot time by a lot. No reason to even use sights at this point. Fits in two of my three holsters with no problem. Very happy at this point... and batteries for life? Nice.

I'm a slow adopter, I guess... rarely jump just to be first with my hot rods, camera and firearms. ang I keep my toys for a long time and typically don't make recommendations because if something goes wrong I don't want to hear about it! My first CT was a red grip laser on my 1965 Colt Government Model 45ACP. I guess I've put 20+K rounds through this fully accurized old gal. Other than the every 5 or 6K round trip to my gunsmith the only change was the Red Light laser and that took the 911 to another level a real improvement in performance and speed of target acquisition especially after the initial round is fired. In 2016 I decide that my very old stainless 357 Chief Special is seriously outgunned as my back up... well my solution did not come with a 15 round clip or even close. I bought a Sig P938 9mm and of course a CT Green Trigger Guard Laser... it's so tiny, green is better than red and I could not be happier. I'm only in 2.5K rounds down the hose but not one jam and the CT bit was perfectly sighted out of the box and... batteries for life you gotta be kidding!!! Only one Chauffeur Problem... I failed to order the bundled holster for CC at the waist and can only find a generic ankle holster! I like lamb fur to keep the Baby off my leg when hot or cold. Just buy the CT you will not be disappointed and if you are consider deep analysis... you have something loose between your ears! Fat Gregory from South Jersey

I loved it at first on my sig p938 but after only 2 months and less than 500'rounds the laser isn't a crisp small dot. It is a 2dot blob. I have cleaned it per instructions but did not fix the problem. I have contacted customer service but being the weekend it will be the first of the week before I can get advice. There was definitely not excessive oil.

Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. Have my Laserguard on my P938. Have a great concealment holster that I wear daily. It's the TALON TUCKABLE SIG SAUER P-938 IWB HOLSTER, and I'm left handed. I also have the Hogue wrap, finger-grooved grips. And yes, the Laserguard doesn't fit as is. However, a couple of cuts in the grip with an Xacto knive and it works perfectly. Really like this set up and recommend it.

It was better than I expected. superior conformity to the pistol. Looks like manufacture build it into the gun. Hard to tell it was added. Green laser is more expensive but worth every penny. easy to identify target inside home.

Just got mine and here's my first impressions. Took a few moments to get the larger half of it locked into my P938 trigger guard. After that installation was child's play. Superb fit! Had to adjust elevation and windage to line up with my sights but I read the instructions (for once!) and it was easy. I thought it would feel cheap and would be awkward to hold and activate. Not at all so. I don't have to adjust my grip that much and the on button has just the right tension so that I can activate it or not activate it quite easily without changing my hold. Fired it up. Holy cow! Indoors at night this thing is a death ray! Crisp, super bright dot indoors. I dare say that in a pinch I might be able to ID friend from foe in pitch darkness indoors JUST from the reflected spatter off a persons shirt. It's that bright. Outdoors in full Arizona sunlight, not so much. On my white target plate I could only see the dot at spitting distance, so I'll keep practicing with my irons for bright daylight shooting. But in the shade or indoors this thing rocks. I love having the ability to shoot while focusing fully on the target instead of a blurry image of the sights. It opens up all kinds of previously unavailable options for improvised sighting. And I feel like I now own the night. I'm sold! Four stars for now. If it shoots as well as it feels, I'll go right to five.

Great product! Easy to install and looks great. Definitely helps my aim, as I took my p938 out to the range the day after receiving my new laserguard to try it out. So far...so good! Thank you CTC! =)

The people saying that it's hard to find a holster for Sig's equipped with this laserguard are lazy people who didn't spend any time actually looking, or they are just dishonest, not sure which. I had no trouble AT ALL getting Concealment Solutions to make a top quality IWB holster for mine. And rumors about the laser not holding center are also exaggerated in my opinion. I've had to readjust mine twice, but it was I banged up against furniture or something - never from firing the gun. The only real shortcoming is that this isn't offered in green laser yet. Fix that, and you'll be a 10.

The Laserguard functions okay, but won't fit if you have the Sig that comes with Hogue grips or the aftermarket Hogue grips. It also means the gun won't fit in the holsters made for the gun that you already have. Also doesn't hold center as well as the Lasergrips I have, and the battery used is less common than the 2032 coin cell used with the grip style lasers. I purchased a LG-492 for myself, but then put it on my wife's P938 as she doesn't carry. I have Laser grips on a P229 and love that style. Sure wish CT would make Lasergrips for the P239 and P938.

Extremely well engineered, easy to install and if you mount it properly, holds zero just fine. I have actually purchased several of these (yup, I'm sold on them), as they make hitting what you want to almost stupid-simple.

I love my Sig P-938 with night sights and suppressor. By adding the LG-492 I do not have to replace my grips so I am super pleased. Would love it iin green but very happy with this everyday carry. Two other Kimberly in family with Crimson Trace Lasers and we are all happy and safe. Thanks for delivering awesome products and service.

Installed on p-238. Very disappointed in sight. They do not hold their zero spot. The laser seems to loose its power. If i fire multiple shots, by the third or fourth round the laser is hardly visible. Been that way since out of box. I have ct laser grips on my s&w 5900 and love them. I would not recommend these laserguards to anyone. The fact that it is very hard to find a holster to fit other than the in pocket just makes it that much worse.

Best back up sights available, only wish they were available in green for better visibility during daylight shooting. When I first installed them I had to re-adjust the sights twice, because the sight wasn't on tight enough. I was afraid to over tighten the tiny allen screws that hold the sight onto the frame. You have to tighten them until you feel resistance and they snug up in order to be on correctly. I dropped the pistol from the couch to the floor and the factory iron night sights were knocked pretty far out of alignment, but the laser sight remained on point. It helped me adjust the iron sights close enough until I could fine tune it at 20 yards on the range. With the iron sights I close one eye to make sure I am on target, with the laser you can point instinctively and have both eyes open with greater awareness of your surroundings. The only issue I have is finding a good, THIN, SECURE, IWB holster for strong side carry. As far as the Hogue rubber grips, you have to have good hand skills to make it look factory. Mark the area where the bottom of the Laserguard is, with a black marker, over the top of the grips. Remove the grips carefully cut the rubber with a sharp razor on the inside of the markings. Remove less than you need, not more! I got mine to fit perfectly, like it came that way on the pistol. I eventually went back to the thin wood grips, as the Hogue grips were too thick. I like the fact that my wife, who doesn't like to shoot can pick up the pistol and feel confident she can hit something with it because of the laser, that alone is worth the price of admission. I always use the iron sights, the laser will help you to make sure you are holding the gun right and are aligned correctly on the shot. They should not be used as the sole aiming device but in addition to the primary iron sights. I have these CTC laser sights on my 12oz. .357 Magnum and they have never been off target, even after months in a sweltering automobile glove box and being concealed carried, they were still spot on at 20 yards, which is a distance I would never normally be able to shoot at with a 2" barreled J frame.

Easy to install. batteries for life. easy to adjust. stays on target with concealed carry. I use a pocket holster and a shoulder harness depending on how I am dressed and carry everyday. Laser stays on target. I had a hard time reaching the on/off button on the Sig Laser for the P238. This activation switch location takes no thought, it is automatic, grab the gun and the laser is on.

As stated in an earlier review , this grip will not work on the P238/ P938 with Hogue grips. Very disappointing , I own these grips on other guns and love them. I plan on calling customer service to see if they have any options for installing them. This laser is much nicier than the Sig version , if you don't have Hogue grips.

I have both P238 & P938 and have mounted the CTC Lasergrip on each one but work is required. Tools required are hex wrench (for grip removal), X-Acto blade or equivalent & something to mark on the rubber grip. Using the shape of the grip switch where it attaches to the front strap as your guide, mark on the grip where rubber must be removed to allow the grip to fit around rather than over the grip switch. Carefully carve out the fingertip shaped piece and try the grip to see if you can reset the mounting screws. Good idea to cut less than it looks like is needed. You can always enlarge the opening. That is all, no rounding or further shaping is needed. Good luck!

In Texas during the summer concealed carry requires something that fits in the shorts. prior experience with civilian lasers was with the bodyguard 380. switch on is a fumble you cant afford in time of need. now my wife and I both carry a sig 938 in summer. the Lg492 requires no thought or extra action to get the laser involved. I am a retired Lt Col. my wife a retired cop. we are both good shots but my accurate distance just doubled and hers also ,( actually she always was better than me with a handgun). This is a great asset but is going to cost me money as I now feel the need to outfit her XDM and my 1911's

I purchased this laser with my new 938-9-SPORTS13 and I am VERY sad to say that I have wasted the extra $100 it cost to purchase this laser instead of the one made by Sig Sauer. Sig makes at least 2 models with the Hogue Rubber grips from the factory. This will NOT work with any of them! :( I'm not sure what to do now??? Please help! Beautiful design and powerful laser, just won't work with the gun it is advertised to work with.

I purchased the LG-492 for my Sig P238 and love everything about it. It arrived in a nice sturdy box and was simple to install. The fit and finish is extraordinary - so much so that it looks like part of the gun instead of an aftermarket accessory. Zeroing in was simple. The switch in front of the trigger guard works well and and I love shooting with it. And lifetime batteries. Simply a great product!

I purchased this unit with the gun. I works flawlessly. I carry this gun concealed and the laserguard doesn't add any bulk to the weapon. It gives you that extra quick target acquisition without mdking the total gun clunky. I carry mine ebery
