I would NOT recommend to anyone unless you live in darkness and never grip your weapon. The rubber activation button is cheap and wears out quickly. With the button attached to the rubber and not built into the unit itself, once the rubber tears and falls off the sight is useless. JUNK.with only a three year warranty they don't back their product. They will give you batteries for the life of the product but not back their product for life. I will never buy another crimson trace product. Don't waste your money.

The rubber in the back fell off. It does always activate so the batteries to fast. Mine seems to dim badly. Sometimes it's brighter than others, even after brand new battereis. My finger does block the laser often because I too keep my finger OFF the trigger, even when aiming, so it makes the last ER annoying. I will say the thing is dead accurate from 40 feet when in shady dark areas

Nice fit and finish, and it doesn't affect my grip. My G19 gen4 fit's perfectly into my Blackpoint Tactical Mini Wing holster just as well as it did before installation.

Crmison Trace quality is there, but for me it adds too much to the girth of the grip. CT can do better on the grip and needs to pay attention to that level of their quality.

I have a gen4 23. It didnt occur to me that the added width to the grip would make reaching trigger in usual way difficult. I bought this so I would be able to use my galco shoulder rig and other holsters. I took it off so I I didnt have to have the back of the grip have to go a little on my thumb instead of the web . I have 2 other crimson , foa a beretta nano and ruger lcr. The lcr grip replaces the stock hogue grip, so you give up the cushioning as it is hard plastic but thats an fyi, I am ok with it. The lcr fits in front of the trigger guard and is great. I just have to find a holster for the lcr. Great products, work as advertised, just think about the substantial additional grip width on the gen4 23 model. Anyone want a virtually new gen 4 23 Lasergrip? :) I wish I could exchange it for one that didnt add width to the grip, and still fit the holsters. ( THATS FOR CRIMSON TRACE IF THEY MONITOR THIS)

This isn't my first purchase from Adorama and because of their great pricing it won't be my last. I have Crimson Trace grips on a couple of my Sig pistols and within a month of buying my new G23 I ordered these grips. Delivery from Adorama was fast and the product was received in perfect condition. The box includes a very nice tool to push the back strap retaining pin from the pistol and I quickly removed both it and the back strap. The laser sight is designed to install without any of the optional back straps but it has a nice built in beavertail, and the twin bulges where the batteries reside nicely help to fill the palm of the hand. The on / off switch is a push button type with audible clicks and a positive feel. The laser activation switch is engaged by the natural action of gripping the frame and with moderate pressure it is normally on unless you intentionally relax your grip to turn it off. The laser is easily zeroed with the included tool and after the installation of these grips and a few trigger upgrades my G23 has truly achieved "Glock perfection".

My Glock 19 Gen 4 was extremely comfortable to shoot before the LG-851, but no kidding, even better after installed. Took me a little while to get he CT grip pin inserted, but other than that no problem with installation. A couple of very minor adjustments with the allen wrench to site in, and perfect in every way. The allen screws are a little larger than on my revolver CT, and much easier to adjust. This is my 3rd CT, and all superb in every way. Don't hesitate, just buy it! Adorama service great, shipping fast and secure, and price the best I could find.

I was skeptical of any lasers on a pistol and still am not sure I will keep this equipped on a home defense weapon, but man, this thing has seriously improved my shooting at the range. It's so easy to see the effect a jerky or improper trigger pull has when you can see the dot on the target. If it's not smooth, then the dot is all over the place. But watching a bullet go straight through the red point with a smoothing trigger is very satisfying. Definitely recommend this product, and when sited in (which doesn't take long), dead accurate.

The newer Gen4 frames have a small protrusion on the top of the grip frame right behind the back of the slide, that is intended to position the beavertail grip adapter. It interferes with the top of the laser grip, causing major problems with lining up the holes for the retaining pin. I'm going to have to either cut that protrusion off the frame or make a small recess into the top of the laser grip. I'll also have to call Crimson Trace to see if the are aware of this problem. Disappointing because I have several of their products and they have been outstanding.

Bought an LG-851 for my wife's Glock Gen4 Model 19. The first one had a little trouble with the activation button. I called Crimson Trace and they immediately sent a new one and it works perfectly. Easy to install and easy to sight in. I like the larger hex wrench for adjusting the laser beam. I love it and recommend it.

Laser dot is actually 4 smaller dots. I sent it back to CT for repair. They sent it back with the same problem saying it was within standard. I have laser grip also, at it has a perfect dot.

Looks great, feels good in the hand. I had installed one of the custom backstraps that came with the Glock 23 Gen 4. You cannot use the backstrap if you want to use the LG. I removed it, but had a hell of a time getting the LG installed for some reason. I could not get one side of the LG lined up properly with the hole in the grip. After attempting to insert the pin and using a small mallet to help, I scored the side of the gun with the pin near the hole, which caused the pin to keep catching in the same spot over and over. After about 2 hours, I finally got the pin in. My only complaint is when you get your grip on the gun, you are going to activate the laser every time. I instinctively place my pointing finger off the trigger and along the rail until ready to shoot. Good thing about that, is I can block the beam if I need too until ready to fire. Bad thing, is sometimes I block the beam with my finger when I don't want to.

I LOVE this laser grip. Installed in 5 minutes, sight adjusted in 5 minutes. I put 3 rounds in one hole! OK, that was exceptional, but I get TIGHT 3 round groups every time, without fail. I have no doubt this laser grip will perform when I cannot take the time to get in a stance and aim properly - a.k.a. in an emergency. Thanks for the free battery program also.

This model has REAR activation. No real problem once you get used to it. What I really like is the new larger size and design of the adjustment tool. It is larger and easier to use. Wish the price was a little lower though :(

Thank you Crimson Trace. Just received and installed. From start to final installation on my wife's Glock19 everything was very smooth. I will definitely be purchasing one for my Glock23. The fit and finish molds as if it were designed and installed by the Glock factory themselves. For accuracy and safety this is money well spent. After doing extensive research on lasers one should spend the extra money for their family's safety and purchase the Crimson Trace. Next up will be the Crimson Trace light guards for both my wife and I. Recommendations have already been made to family members to make this all important purchase.

Obvious high quality product, with almost seamless integeration on the pistol. Easy to install, instinctive to use, and easy to sight in perfectly. I had the large grip installed on my Model 19, and thought it was about perfect for my hand. I initially switched back to the standard size grip with the LaserGrip. I think I'll probably go to the midsize grip with the LaserGrip to get the perfect fit. Just need some more time at the range to decide. Highly reccomended!

I bought the LG-851 for my Gen 4 Glock 23, and I could not be happier. The shipping was quick and painless. The laser was incredibly easy to install, and fits snugly. I was also impressed with the minimal impact the grip has on my "feel" when holding the pistol. The device does not intrude on my holster (Serpa), and snaps into place just like it did before installation of the grip. Crimson Trace has a winner with this grip, for sure.
