You must buy it!

This is an awesome light laser especially if you have a sub compact like the M&P Shield. Easy to install and adjust. Been out to the range several times using it at 7yds, 4" targets. LOVE IT.

Must have for Concealed Carry & Home Defense!

Fastest target recognition and accurate aiming on the market for my S&W Shield 9mm. Plenty of available holsters on the market for any carry method. Selectable light and laser modes suit any tactical situation. Laser windage and elevation easily adjusted and holds zero with proper installation. Battery life is also good.

Fantastic! Try it and you will buy it!

The combination of the spotlight and the green laser is as good as it gets. I am now able to shoot accurately from the hip (if I want). I can make my target in a spit second. The spotlight gets you on target and the laser pinpoints your aim. I am having more fun with this than I ever could have imagined. On the other side of the gun, the spotlight is blinding, perfect for home defense. I have shown the Laserguard Pro to three of my shooting buddies. They were all so impressed, they are buying one for themselves.

not yet tested at a range

I received this product in April of last year and haven't yet used it in conjunction with live fire. I have only used it indoors without shooting it of course. The combination laser and light is ideal for that moment that you might need not just a light but laser as well; and/or vice versa. The laser for me was necessary for such a gun like I have chambered in .40. It is compact, according to some websites, so the recoil is strong. Recoil can be managed with practice but in a situation where you quickly need to use it within a second or seconds--whether in home defense or as a conceal carry pistol, a laser is essential. Even though I've upgraded and added features to my gun, I still need to practice mitigating recoil. A laser aids in mitigation in a substantial way.

Excellent quality and very bright light and red laser

Excellent quality and very bright light and red laser even has a holster. I put it on my S&W Shield 40 PRO and it works great.

LL-801 Laserguard Pro for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield is a powerful red laser sight and 150 Lumen LED white light in a single compact unit. Designed specifically for the M&P Shield platform, this illumination and targeting product is activated with Crimson Trace's famed Instinctive Activation, which activates the unit with a normal firing grip. LL-801 offers four modes of operation: Laser + Light, Laser Only, Light Only and Laser + Light Strobe. The unit features a Master On/Off Switch, is completely user-installed in moments, is adjustable for windage and elevation and offers 2 hours of battery life.
